This adopted recipe has already received many good reviews and is the way I have always fixed deviled eggs. Since these are just basic deviled eggs, use your imagination and add anything you want. Double or triple the recipe if desired. Cooking time includes time to cook the eggs.

FRIED DEVILED EGGS

- Add the eggs to a large saucepan filled with cold water. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit in the water for 14 minutes.
- Peel the eggs and slice lengthwise. Remove the yolks to a bowl. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon, lemon zest, chives, hot sauce and salt and pepper. Mash the yolks together with a wooden spoon. Taste and adjust seasonings, if needed. Fill the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites.
- Heat oil in a deep-fryer to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl, add 1 cup of flour and season with salt and pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs, in a third bowl, add 1 cup of panko.
- Dip the eggs into the flour, then the egg and finally into the panko. Gently put the eggs into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown. Remove to a paper towel lined sheet tray. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley.

- Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with enough water that there's 1 1/2 inches of water above the eggs. Heat on high until water begins to boil, then cover, turn the heat to low, and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and leave covered for 14 minutes, then rinse under cold water continuously for 1 minute.
- Crack egg shells and carefully peel under cool running water. Gently dry with paper towels. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise, removing yolks to a medium bowl, and placing the whites on a serving platter. Mash the yolks into a fine crumble using a fork. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
- Evenly disperse heaping teaspoons of the yolk mixture into the egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika and serve.

- Cover potatoes with water by 1 inch in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 10 minutes; drain.
- Place eggs in a small saucepan; add water to cover by 1 inch. Bring to a rolling boil. Remove pan from heat; cover, and let stand 7 minutes. Drain, and run eggs under cold water to cool.
- Peel and halve eggs lengthwise. Remove yolks and transfer to a bowl; mash with a fork. Mix in mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, paprika, and 2 tablespoons water; press through a sieve. Roughly chop egg whites; add to yolk mixture along with potatoes, celery, and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine; top with more celery and onion.
