SUPER-SIMPLE DORITO® TACOS



Super-Simple Dorito® Tacos image

Make with 1 or 2 pounds of ground beef. You can use two cans of diced tomatoes with green chilies depending on your taste. Enjoy!

1 pound ground beef
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
1 (15 ounce) can ranch-style beans
1 (14.5 ounce) package nacho-flavor tortilla chips
¾ cup shredded Mexican cheese blend, divided

Steps:

  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly, breaking the meat up as it cooks, about 10 minutes. Drain excess grease and mix in taco seasoning. Stir in diced tomatoes with green chilies and ranch-style beans and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Place a large handful of tortilla chips on a serving dish and top with a ladle of the ground beef mixture. Repeat with remaining chips and meat mixture. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded Mexican cheese blend on each serving.

2 lbs hamburger
1 (4 ounce) package taco seasoning
1 (8 ounce) jar taco sauce
8 ounces Catalina dressing
1 (8 ounce) package mexican cheese, shredded
1 (16 ounce) bag Doritos, crushed
1/2 head iceberg lettuce, chopped fine
3 tomatoes, chopped
tortilla chips

Steps:

  • Brown hamburg; add taco seasoning according to package.
  • Chill for 2 hours.
  • Add Taco Sauce, Catalina dressing, cheese and bag of crushed Doritos. Mix well.
  • Add lettuce and tomatoes; mix together.
  • Serve cold with your favorite tortilla chips.
