Regular chicken strips are boring, but do you know what isn't boring? Chicken strips that are breaded in Doritos!

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 bag Doritos
2 cups flour
3 eggs
1/4 cup milk

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°.
  • Trim the fat off your chicken breasts and slice them lengthwise into strips. I like each strip to be about half an inch thick.
  • Beat your eggs in a bowl and add your milk to it.
  • Crush up your Doritos and put them in a separate bowl. I just threw them in my Ninja Blender for about 15 seconds, but you can crush them however you prefer.
  • Coat each chicken strip in flour, followed by a quick bath in the egg and milk mixture and then roll them in the crushed up Doritos.
  • Place all your chicken strips on a foil lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 large bag of Doritos, Nacho Cheese Flavor (11.5 ounce)
2 cups flour
4 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt

Steps:

  • Cut the chicken into thin 1/2 inch strips. Using a food processor, crush the Doritos so that they are a texture coarse like bread crumbs. Set aside in a large bowl. (If you don't have a food processor, make a small hole in the Doritos bag and get the air out of it. Then use a rolling pin and crush the chips in the bag). Mix the flour and salt in one bowl and eggs in another. Whisk the eggs so that they are well scrambled. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Set up the four bowls in order: a bowl with the chicken, a bowl with the flour and salt, a bowl with the beaten eggs, a bowl with the crushed Doritos, and then the pan. Lift out a few chicken strips and place them in the flour so they are all coated. Lift the chicken strips out of the flour and shake off any excess. Place them in the eggs and turn them so they are evenly coated. Lift them out of the egg and then place them in the crushed Doritos - again so they are even coated. Place the coated chicken strips on the baking sheet. Do this with the remaining chicken strips. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
  • Now, in another separate bowl, add the eggs.
  • In yet another bowl, add the crushed Doritos.
  • Dip the chicken into the flour, egg mixture, then the Doritos.
  • On a lined baking tray, place the coated pieces of chicken.
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
¾ cup crushed spicy nacho cheese-flavored tortilla chips (such as Doritos® Spicy)
⅓ cup whole wheat bread crumbs
ground black pepper to taste
2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place an oven-proof rack on top of a baking sheet.
  • Beat egg, water, and cayenne pepper together in a shallow bowl. Mix nacho cheese-flavored chips, bread crumbs, and black pepper together in a separate shallow bowl. Dip chicken into egg mixture until coated; transfer to chip mixture and press to fully cover on both sides. Place coated chicken on the wire rack.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 25 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

1 lb chicken breast, cut into tenders
2 cups Egg Beaters egg substitute
5 cups crushed Doritos

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Pour some fake eggs onto a shallow plate. Crush the Doritos into a bowl.
  • 2. Line a baking sheet with tin foil. Pat the chicken tenders dry with a paper towel. Soak the tenders on each side in the egg mixture. Then evenly coat the tenders with the crushed Doritos, making sure to try and coat the entire tender.
  • 3. Bake the tenders for 20 minutes, or until the tenders are cooked through.

These Easy Cool Ranch Doritos Chicken Fingers are such a fun spin on a favorite dinner! Crispy Doritos coat the chicken pieces for a meal everyone will love! This homemade chicken fingers recipe is simple, and incredibly delicious.

2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into "tenderloin" strips
2 cups buttermilk
1 (12 oz) bag of Cool Ranch Doritos (or whatever flavor you prefer)
1 cup flour
*optional 1-2 Tbsp Ranch seasoning mix for extra Ranch flavor

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, marinate the chicken strips in buttermilk for at LEAST 2-3 hours (you can soak overnight).
  • When ready to bake preheat oven to 400°.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick spray. Set aside.
  • Take bag of Doritos and crush the chips inside. Now transfer Dorito pieces and flour into food processor or blender to crush and blend until the Doritos are the size of panko bread crumbs. Add in Ranch seasoning if desired.
  • Transfer crumbs into a medium bowl.
  • Set up a "coating station" and remove each chicken strip from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off and coat the chicken in the Dorito/Flour mixture.
  • Transfer to lined baking sheet. Continue with all chicken.
  • Bake chicken strips for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve immediately with Ranch dressing!
