But I like the addition of the touch of chocolate from this recipe, so I'm posting it so it's handy when I'm craving this drink. Ingredients

2 oz chocolate sauce (or as needed)
2 scoop(s) vanilla ice cream
1/2 c amarula cream liqueur
1/4 c heavy cream
2 Tbsp chocolate shavings, for garnish (optional)

Steps:

1. Chill two parfait or Collins glasses in the refrigerator
2. Blend or whip the ice cream until soft and smooth. Add the Amarula liqueur and cream, and blend 10 to 20 seconds.
3. Working with one glass at a time, drizzle chocolate sauce on the (inside) side of each glass, turning the glass as you drizzle, to form a swirled chocolate pattern inside each glass. Repeat with the other glass.
4. Divide the blended mixture between the two glasses, sprinkle the chocolate shavings on top, and serve with a tall cocktail straw.

Ingredients

5 oz vanilla ice cream (about 1 large scoop)
1 1/2 oz heavy cream, cold
1 shots amarula cream liqueur
cocoa powder or chocolate shavings, to garnish

Steps:

1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender. Blend well. Pour into a glass and garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or chocolate shavings (or fruit, if desired).
2. *VARIATION* To kick it up a notch, add a little vodka, brandy or cognac. This will thin it out so it's more like a cocktail, and also cut some of the sweetness. DOM PEDRO SHAKE: 4 scoops vanilla ice cream 1 cup milk 2 shots Amarula Cream Liqueur Combine in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass.
