6 oz banana, vanilla, or plain yogurt
2 Tbsp unsalted peanut butter

Steps:

  • 1. Mix 6 oz of banana, vanilla, or plain yogurt and 2 tablespoons of un-salted peanut butter in a medium-sized bowl.
  • 2. Optional: You can add any food coloring (I used red) and mix well until you have the color that you desire.
  • 3. Using a butter knife, spread your doggie frosting on your dog treats and let your furry friend enjoy!

2 tablespoons cornstarch (you can also use rice or potato flour)
2 teaspoons water
1 teaspoon honey
Food coloring (optional)

Steps:

  • Add the cornstarch to the bowl - Substitute with rice or potato flour if desired.
  • Add the Water and Honey - Add water to the cornstarch, mix together, then add the honey. Thoroughly combine the mix with a whisk and add more water if needed. The icing will likely seem a bit thin at first, but it will harden.
  • Add Food Coloring - Add food coloring to the icing if desired. Add the icing to separate bowls and add different colors, mixing thoroughly. Be sure the food coloring you use is dog-friendly.
  • This icing will harden, making it great to decorate your dog's favorite biscuits. Adding some food coloring will allow you to make adorable different decorations for your pooch.

2 tablespoon(s) peanut butter, natural crunchy

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all above in a food processor or mixer. Makes ½ cup of yogurt icing to frost about 30 dog treats.
  • 2. You can dollop on with a spoon, brush it on with a pastry brush or using a pastry bag (or plastic storage bag with the corner cut out) squeeze the yogurt out onto the dog treats. You could even dip them into the yogurt mixture. If you put this fresh baked treats, make sure they're thoroughly cooled.
  • 3. Frosted treats should be kept in fridge
