- Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface until it's about 1/4″ thick. Use cookie cutters or a pizza cutter to create biscuits that are appropriately sized for your dog.
- Place the biscuits on a parchment paper-lined cooke sheet. Bake the biscuits for 20-25 minutes. You will know they are done when they begin to look dry and slightly cracked on top.

HOMEMADE DOG BONES
This recipe is for my friend Bobbi Auttonberry here @ Just A Pinch, it is a recipe that she can make for her dog. Now that I have converted her husband to like Fried Cabbage Mama's Way, & Mama's Buttermilk Cornbread, the dog doesn't get left over corn bread any more. So here is a recipe for the dogs. My dog Diamond loves them & I hope yours will too. This recipe makes a lot, so you may want to cut it in half the first time you make them, just to make sure. I do not use my dog bone cookie cutter anymore, I just roll them out by hand. When I have a few minutes to spare I like making these.

Steps:
- 1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 300 DEGREES F. Mix all ingredients together & shape into dog bones, or any shape you like. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet & Bake At 300 degrees F. for one hour. Makes about 48 bones.
- 2. This recipe is also in my cookbook, and I have made it quite a few times when ever I have the time.
- 3. Please note: If you have a small dog and make the bones smaller, you may be able to get 48 pieces. But my dog is larger, so I made the bones accordingly, and I got 28 pieces, and she loves them.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line two or three cookie sheets with aluminum foil or parchment. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, wheat germ and sugar.
- In the large bowl of an electric mixer, beat peanut butter and milk together until combined. On low speed, gradually add the flour mixture and beat until just combined. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured board and knead lightly.
- On the same surface, roll dough 1/4inch thick and, with cutters, cut into bones or other shapes. Transfer to cookie sheets, placing about 1/2inch apart. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until slightly browned. Let the cookies cool on the sheets for about two minutes then remove to cooling racks to cool completely. Store well wrapped at room temperature for two to three days or refrigerate or freeze.
