Number Of Ingredients 7

6 frozen pitted cherries
4 lime wedges
2 ounces gin
1/4 ounce Simple Syrup, recipe follows
3 dashes cherry bitters
Club soda, for topping
1 cup sugar

Steps:

  • Muddle the cherries and lime wedges in a mixing tin. Add the gin, Simple Syrup, bitters and ice and shake. Pour the contents into a glass and top with club soda.
  • Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and let cool completely. Keep covered in the refrigerator up to 1 month.

This is my favorite drink when I go out. Basically a Shirley Temple, with Vodka. Have to call it dirty since I fixed it up a bit:-)

4 -6 ounces carbonated lemon-lime beverage
2 ounces vodka
1 ounce grenadine, I use a little less
1 -2 maraschino cherry (to garnish)

Steps:

  • Pour all ingredients over ice in a tall drinking glass.
  • Stir, drink and enjoy!
