SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK SUBSTITUTE FOR DIABETICS
Being a diabetic is hard. It's difficult to find everyday ingredients. However, if you use some of the "in-a-pinch" recipes and make your own, you can substitute the sugar for Splenda and **HOPE** it turns out right. This did and it's really opened doors for me as a dessert maker.

- Liquid Milk substitute. Liquid milk is often the most commonly used alternative as it has a light consistency and works with anything and everything. Milk softens the texture of the substance.
- Powdered Milk substitute. Powdered milk comes into being by evaporating milk to dryness. It is a manufactured dairy product. One benefit of dry milk is that you can preserve it for a more extended time and has a longer shelf than liquid milk.
- Sugar-free substitute. Sugar is undoubtedly one of the most exceptional seasonings in the world. While many people try to cut down their sugar intake, one cannot deny its utmost importance in our lives.
- Dairy-free substitute. Dairy products are said to be the most versatile components for cooks and bakers and confectioners, be it milk or cheese or eggs.
- Cream of Coconut substitute. Cream of coconut is another world-wide known substitute for sweetened condensed milk and offers amazing tropical flavors to desserts, pies, and pudding.
- Standard substitute. As the name suggests, this is the one that works in most cases. For this, you need: 1 cup milk. 2 eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla. 11 cup brown sugar.

- Heavy Cream + Sugar. Choosing heavy cream, which is already thick and sweet, and mixing it with sugar, creates a similar flavor to sweetened condensed milk.
- Whole Milk + Sugar. You can pretty much make your own sweetened condensed by using whole milk and reducing it down to a thick consistency. To do this, use two cups of whole milk and slowly simmer it down over low-medium heat.
- Powdered Milk. This milk product is simply dehydrated milk that lasts a long time and is usually lightly sweetened. All you need to do is use one and ⅓ cup of dry powdered milk and mix it with about ⅓ cup of hot water.
- Cream of Coconut. This vegan option is a great addition when you are looking for a tasty sweetened condensed milk alternative. Cream of coconut is often used in sweetening drinks, like smoothies, Pina Coladas, and Vietnamese iced coffee, but you can use it to make desserts, like cheesecake, banana bread, and key lime pie.
- Coconut Milk + Sugar. This is another non-dairy option that can mimic the flavor and consistency of sweetened condensed milk. As you would do with regular milk, use two cups of coconut milk and reduce it to one cup by slowly simmering over low-medium heat.
- Almond Milk + Sugar. Almond milk is another great substitute for sweetened condensed milk, as it adds thickness and sweetness, but is low in calories and fat.
