ZERO, yep Zip Zero Weight Watcher points per 3/4 C. Serving. This is enough to cover 1 sm head of cabbage and 3-4 carrots. It may look under-dressed when you first finish, but the cabbage will loose some water after it sits and it will be perfect in 1/2 hr or so! This is a variation on my mother's coleslaw dressing. Hope you enjoy! Cook time is resting in the refrigerator time.

2/3 cup fat-free Miracle Whip
1/4 cup Splenda sugar substitute
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery seed

Steps:

  • Put the vinegar, splenda, and salad dressing in a bowl and whip with your wire whisk until smooth.
  • This will take a few minutes Add in the Salt and Celery Seeds, stir gently and pour over your favorite cabbage mix.
  • This recipe is 0 weight watcher points if you use Cabbage, Carrots, and a bit of onion, or some other 0 point vegetables.

DOWNEAST CRABMEAT PIE

This is THE best recipe! Only requires 3/4 c. of crabmeat. Love this recipe with shrimp &/or lobster, too.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup light cream or 3/4 cup whole milk
2 eggs
salt & pepper
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
3/4 lb crabmeat (fresh picked is better if you can get it)
paprika
1 unbaked pie shell

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.
  • Mix first four ingredients.
  • Stir in crab, s&p.
  • Pour into pie shell.
  • Melt butter and add bread crumbs.
  • Stir.
  • Sprinkle over crab mixture.
  • Sprinkle w/ a few dashes of paprika.
  • Bake 40-45 minutes.
  • Let rest 10 minutes or so before serving.

1 tablespoon canola oil
1 lb lean ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoons caraway seeds
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 1/2 cups frozen peppers and onions, thawed & chopped
1 medium golden delicious apple, unpeeled & diced
6 cups low sodium beef broth
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon paprika
3 cups savoy cabbage, coarsely chopped
1 -2 tablespoon cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add beef, caraway seeds and thyme, cook, stirring until beef is mostly browned, about 4 minutes.
  • Add in pepper-onion mix and apple; cook, stirring for 2-3 minutes more.
  • Stir in broth, tomatoes, honey and paprika and adjust the heat so the mixture boils gently. Cook for 8-10 minutes to blend the flavors.
  • Stir in cabbage and cook until just barely tender, 3-4 minutes more. Season to taste with vinegar, salt and pepper.

1 tablespoon oil
1 lb ground beef
1 garlic clove, minced
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, chopped
1 lb coleslaw mix
1/2 cup carrot, shredded
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1/4 cup water
12 fajita sized flour tortillas
12 tablespoons hoisin sauce

Steps:

  • Heat oil in saucepan on medium heat. Add beef and garlic and cook until browned, about 10 minutes, drain.
  • Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes. Add carrots, cabbage and cook another 5 minutes.
  • Mix together hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and water. Pour over beef and vegetable mixture. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and let mixture steam for 5 minutes.
  • Spread 1 T hoisin sauce onto each tortilla. Top with 1/2 cup of beef/vegetable mixture. Roll up and serve.

Steps:
