LIKE HAMBURGER HELPER CHEESEBURGER MACARONI
This recipe is a very inexpensive meal that makes super creamy hamburger helper. I like hamburger helper but it always dries out too fast. This recipe doesn't. Even the next day it stays super creamy!

Steps:
- Brown the hamburger in a dutch oven or 12 inch skillet. When browned, drain off fat. Rinse the hamburger, to make it lower in fat, if desired. It doesn't hurt the taste at all.
- Add the milk, butter, water, cheese package mixes, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add macaroni.
- Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer for about 7 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
- Add garlic powder and season with salt to your taste.
- Add the cubed cream cheese and stir until melted and blended.
- Serve immediately. Yummy.

CHEESY HAMBURGER SKILLET (OR HELPER, GOULASH, COWBOY STUFF)
Guy food, tossed together one Saturday night in a large cast iron skillet. Exactly my kind of comfort food. Ingredient amounts are approximate, as they usually are when a guy cooks (this guy, anyway), so don't fret over amounts and feel free to taste and add whatever.

Steps:
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onions.
- Drain the meat mixture.
- Add tomato products and beans, undrained.
- Add water if needed and chili powder and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add the cooked macaroni and reheat to a simmer.
- Taste and adjust salt and pepper.
- Stir in 1 cup of cheese and melt.
- Add remainder of cheese to top and remove from heat.

Steps:
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet until no longer pink. Drain. Return to skillet.
- Add hot water, milk, pasta, and seasonings. Stir to combine.
- Cover and simmer for 15 - 20 mins or until pasta is cooked and sauce has reduced.
- Stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
- Remove from heat and let sit 5 mins until sauce is thickened.
- Serve and enjoy!

- Heat a large saute pan over medium heat. Crumble ground beef into pan and add onion. Cook until beef is browned. Drain excess grease from pan if needed.
- Add paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, oregano, pepper, beef broth, milk, crushed tomatoes, and macaroni. Stir to combine. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 8 minutes, or until macaroni is al dente (refer to macaroni package directions). Stir once halfway through to scrape the bottom and catch any macaroni that may be sticking.
- Remove lid. Add shredded cheese and stir until melted. Remove from heat and allow to set for 5 minutes to allow sauce to thicken. Serve and enjoy.
