Delicious And Easy Tater Tot Casserole Recipe With Ham image

If you are looking for a great recipe idea for the family (especially those picky eaters), consider this tater tot casserole recipe. Crispy tater tots is a hot dish that is easy to put together and serves about 8 people once you are done baking.

1 cup diced ham
1/4 cup diced onion
6 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups shredded cheese
1 bag, 16 oz, frozen tater tots (you can keep frozen)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 2.5 qt casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle ham and onion in the bottom of the dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, add eggs, milk, and spices and whisk well. Next, you will want to stir in the cheese. Then pour your egg mixture over the ham and onions. The next part of this tater tot breakfast casserole is my favorite.
  • Top with frozen tater tots in an even layer. Make a pattern in your baking dish. Do you. Make it fun. Get the entire family involved. Go around in a circle. You know how this tater tot casserole recipe is supposed to look - so go at it!
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until center is set. Let everything set for about five minutes before serving and enjoy! This recipe serves about 6-8 people.
