DEEP DISH TACO SQUARES

Steps:
- Mix biscuit baking mix and water; spread evenly in lightly greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes; remove from oven and set aside.
- Brown ground beef; drain.
- Add green pepper, onion and garlic powder.
- Stir in tomato sauce and taco seasoning and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread mixture over crust.
- Stir together cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise; spoon over beef mixture.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake at 375 degrees for an additional 25 minutes.
- Cut into squares; garnish with sour cream and pico de gallo.

- In a nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Remove from the heat; stir in the cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream and onion. , In a large bowl, combine biscuit mix and water. Spread into an 8-in. square baking dish coated with cooking spray. Top with beef mixture and tomato. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 20 minutes or until bottom crust is golden brown.

- Press mixture in bottom of a lightly greased 12x8x2" baking dish.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 9 minutes.
- Cook ground beef, green pepper, and onion in a large skillet until meat is browned, stirring to crumble meat; drain well.
- Stir in tomato sauce; spoon over crust.
- Combine sour cream, cheese, and mayonnaise in a medium bowl; spoon over meat mixture.
- Sprinkle top evenly with paprika.
- Bake at 375 degrees, uncovered, for 25 minutes or until casserole is lightly browned.

- Grease an 8x8 pan.
- Brown ground beef and onion, then drain.
- Mix Bisquick and water until dough forms.
- Pat in pan, pressing 1/2 inch up sides.
- Layer beef, tomatoes, and green pepper in pan.
- Mix last 3 ingredients together.
- Spoon sour cream mixture over top of peppers.
- Bake at 375 degrees 25-30 minutes.

DEEP-DISH TACO SQUARES
This "one-pan" taco combines all the great ingredients of tacos, but is a snap to make and less messy to eat than regular tacos. Time Saver: Cut prep time by using frozen chopped onions. This came from Best Of Betty Crocker 2010. I have not tried it, just posting for safe keeping.

- Heat oven to 375. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In 8-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix until blended.
- In medium bowl, stir Bisquick and water until soft dough forms. Using fingers dipped in Bisquick, pat dough in bottom and 1/2-inch up sides of baking dish.
- In same bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise and cheese until blended.
- Layer beef mixture, tomato and chilies over dough; spoon sour cream mixture over top.
- Bake 25-30 minutes or until edges of dough are light golden brown.
