Number Of Ingredients 12

8 to 12 ounces angel hair pasta
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1-1/2 cups milk
4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 to 1/2 cup diced fully cooked ham, optional

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute garlic in oil until lightly browned. Stir in the flour, cornstarch, garlic salt, pepper and basil until blended. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. , Reduce heat; whisk in cream cheese and Parmesan cheese until smooth. Add ham if desired; heat through. Drain pasta; add to sauce and toss to coat.

1 lb. angel hair pasta
4 cups heavy cream
2 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 lb. jumbo lump crabmeat
2 tbsp. truffle oil
1 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
3 tbsp. snipped chives

Steps:

  • 1. Bring a large heavy pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook, stirring to separate the strands of pasta, until just barely al dente, about 3 minutes. Drain in colander. 2. Combine the cream, basil, garlic, salt and pepper in the same pot. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Add the pasta, toss to coat. Add the crabmeat and 2 tablespoons of the truffle oil, stir gently so as to not break up the lumps of crabmeat, and cook for 1 minute. Add the cheese and gently stir until blended. 3. Divide the pasta among six or eight pasta bowls. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of truffle oil over each serving and add more parmesan. Garnish with chives and serve immediately.

1/2 cup 2% milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 packages (8 ounces each) imitation crabmeat, flaked
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. Whisk in the sour cream, soup, milk, salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and pepper until blended. Cook and stir until heated through (do not boil). Stir in crab; heat through. , Drain pasta; top with crab sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley.

8 ounces crabmeat, flaked

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Keep warm and covered.
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until garlic releases its aroma, about 2 minutes, being careful not to let the garlic brown. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Reduce heat, and cook, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes. Add the half-and-half and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes.
  • Add the cream cheese and Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until cheeses melt and mixture is smooth. Mix in the crabmeat and continue cooking until crabmeat is heated through, about 3 minutes.
  • Divide the fettucine between 2 plates or bowls and top with the crab sauce.
