A friend of the family, Debbie Simpson, made this cake and gave us the recipe. It's a chocolate lover's delight.

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

1 box deep chocolate cake mix (or something similar)
4 eggs
1/2 c warm water
1/2 c canola oil
1 c sour cream
1 pkg instant chocolate pudding
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

1. Mix eggs, oil, water and sour cream (I have used plain greek yogurt as a substitute when I didn't have sour cream) - mix well with a spoon.
2. Add pudding and cake mix. Mix with electric mixer, medium speed, 2 minutes. Add chocolate chips - mix well with a spoon.
3. Grease bundt pan well. Pour batter into pan and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cake is done when toothpick inserted comes out pretty clean. You can dust with powdered sugar for a prettier presentation if you like.
