Easy and Hearty Slow Cooker Beef Stew image

A hearty warm meal waiting for you when you get home, full of tender beef, potatoes, and carrots in a rich flavorful sauce. Comfort food at its best! Serve with warm bread or rolls.

1 ½ pounds beef stew meat, cut into cubes
3 large potatoes, cut into cubes
1 pound carrots, cut into 3/4-inch chunks
1 large onion, chopped
1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Combine beef, potatoes, carrots, and onion in a slow cooker crock.
  • Mix cream of mushroom soup, tomato sauce, onion soup mix, parsley, and pepper together in a bowl; pour over the beef mixture.
  • Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Stir before serving.

1/2 cup Kraft original barbeque sauce(divided in half)
2 eggs beaten
1 cup water

Steps:

  • mix water and all ingredients except 1/4 cup barbeque sauce. shape in loaf pan and top with remaining 1/4 cup barbeque sauce bake 375 for one hour or until the center is not pink

1/2 lb lean beef cut into strips
1 onion (sliced)
1 green pepper (sliced)
1 cup celery
1 cup cut green beans
4 oz sliced mushrooms
8 t cornstarch
2 T soy sauce
1 1/2 cup water

Steps:

  • Brown beef in 2 T of oil. Add in onion, green pepper, celery, green beans and mushrooms. Cook until beans are tender. Dissolve cornstarch in soy sauce and water. Add to skillet and cook for about 10 minutes. Garnish with pimiento. Serve over rice or noodles.

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
12 oz. fresh whole mushrooms, rinsed
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 C. dry sherry
1 16 oz. package Reams frozen egg noodles

Steps:

  • Mix cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, dry onion soup mix, and sherry together in bottom of crock pot. Add beef and mushrooms and mix to coat. Cook on high for 5-6 hours. Cook Reams noodles according to package directions. Drain, add to crock pot and mix with other ingredients.
