Another quick and easy cookie treat for your Halloween cookie tray. Easy for little hands to assemble, too!

Number Of Ingredients 5

Ingredients

1 large roll of slice and bake cookies, sugar or peanut butter (or your own recipe)
36 rollos or chocolate covered cherries
black shoe string licorice, cut into 2" lengths
1/3 c mini m&m's
.68 oz tube of black coloring gel

Steps:

1. Bake cookies as per package directions or your own recipe. When cookies come out of oven, place a Rollo candy (or chocolate covered cherry) on the cookie. Allow to cool for 2 minutes and then remove to cooling rack.
2. Carefully stick licorice legs into sides of Rollo candy. (Sometimes I have found that it's easier to stick them under the Rollo.) "Glue" on eyes with a drop of black gel. Using black gel, add two black dots to eyes.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Pull apart the Twizzlers and set aside 24 strands of the purple licorice. Cut the licorice in half and use 4 strands to make the legs for the bottom of the spiders.
Melt the Wiltons Candy Melts according to package instructions. Add a small dollop of candy melts on the middle of the legs. Dip the Oreo in the melted candy melts and let excess drizzle off. Carefully place Oreo in the center of the spider legs. Add on the spiders eyes and sprinkles. Let dry completely before moving.
