Steps:
- pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- generously spray bottom & sides of 9 x 13 pan. This cobbler is gooey and sticky and the more you spray now, the less time you will spend cleaning after the pan is empty
- Melt butter and pour into bottom of prepared pan.
- mix flour, sugar and milk together and pour over melted butter. The butter will float in places, but don't worry about it, that's what makes it tasty after it's baked.
- Open can of fruit and pour over butter/batter mixture, juice and all. Yes, it will look like a gooey sloppy mess but that's what it's supposed to. Just be careful not to spill it when you're putting it in the oven.
- Bake @ 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes, depending on oven and fruit. I usually do a tooth pick test after 30 minutes and if it comes out clean, I take it out of the oven, if not, I leave it longer , checking at 15 minute increments--plus or minus. If it starts to smell tasty before the timer goes off, check it. I bake alot by smell because I often forget to set the timer.
- Add some ice cream and enjoy!
PEACH COBBLER, THE OLD "CUPPA" RECIPE
This is a very easy recipe. I don't know where it came from as it is very common here in the south. It's what we refer to as the "cuppa" recipe because it uses a cup of flour, cup of sugar, etc... Nearly everybody has either heard of it or knows how to make it! It's a family favorite and I like to serve it with a scoop of vanilla...

Steps:
- 1. Preheat over to 350* and lightly spray a 7.5 x 11 inch casserole pan or a 9x9 in. square pan.
- 2. In a medium pot add peaches and juice, 1/2 stick butter. Heat till it comes to a boil then remove from heat.
- 3. In a medium bowl add flour, sugar, salt and mix. Now add milk and vanilla and stir to combine. Pour into baking dish then pour hot peach mixture over that. Pour the 1/2 stick melted butter on top. Bake for 10 minutes then I like to sprinkle a couple pinches of sugar on top and return to oven. Bake another 10 minutes then start checking it. It takes 20-30 minutes total, depending on your oven.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine sliced peaches and 1/4 cup sugar in a medium bowl. Toss to coat peaches evenly with sugar. Set aside until sugar melts and peaches begin to extract their juice, about 10 minutes.
- Line two baking pans with parchment paper. Place eight 8-ounce baking dishes on prepared baking pans. Place 1 tablespoon butter in the bottom of each baking dish. Transfer to oven until butter is melted and bubbling, 5 to 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk together remaining 3/4 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt. Add milk slowly, whisking until completely combined. Divide batter evenly among hot baking dishes. Spoon an equal amount of peaches with their juice into the center of each baking dish, keeping an outer edge of batter. Return to oven, and bake until tops are golden brown, about 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream.
CUPPA, CUPPA PEACH COBBLER
This is so easy! It isn't my Granny's old fashioned cobbler (which is wonderful), but its really sweet and delicious! When you view the ingredients and amounts, you see where the name came from.
