Cold drinks are a welcome treat during hot summer days. This low carb juice with no sugar added is a refreshing drink to quench thirst and cool down.

Steps:
- Blend strawberries and lime juice in electric blender until smooth.
- Pour fruit mixture into 2 quart pitcher.
- Stir in sweetener and water.

CUCUMBER LIMEADE
The first time I had a beverage with cucumber in it was at a spa several years ago. Simple thinly-sliced cucumber rounds in clean iced water... and it was heaven! (Ok, so the lovely, relaxing spa environment didn't hurt.) This slightly "enhanced" version is from Martha Stewart. Feel free to adjust the amount of lime juice to your taste. I found it needed significantly more than the original recipe's call for the juice of one lime (I'm a citrus-head), but once I got it right, it was perfect! I grabbed a book and melted into the hammock out back while sipping this truly refreshing beverage.

Steps:
- Peel cucumber, cut in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. This is easily done by scraping a spoon tip (bowl side down) down the length of the inside of the cucumber half.
- Chop coarsely and combine in a blender with the remaining ingredients, blending until smooth.
- Serve over ice with cucumber spears as garnish.

Since I tried cucumber juice I have been a fan. And I recently tried a cucumber lemonade that was very good! For me I am more of a limeade fan. So I came up with this refreshing drink. Very refreshing!!! Add a splash of club soda or lemon lime soda and you have a great spritzer!

- 1. Combine all ingredients in blender except water and blend till cucumbers and strawberries are smooth. Pour through medium mesh sieve into pitcher. Add cold water, stir. Pour into glasses with ice and garnish with strawberries limes or cucumbers.
- 2. Add a splash of soda for a great spritzer! Champagne or sparkling wine for a tastey cocktail!

- Take sugar and water (ingredients mentioned under simple syrup) in a pan and heat it. Stir it with a spoon till sugar dissolves. Once sugar dissolves, boil it for around 2 minutes. When it gets a little bit thicker, remove from the stove. Let it cool completely. Take 6 strawberries.
