This is the best deviled egg recipe - these deviled eggs have the perfect balance of richness from the egg yolk and mayonnaise plus seasoning from mustard, lemon, and sriracha. This is the perfect appetizer to serve on Easter, since you might have a bunch of decorated hard boiled eggs in your fridge.

6 Hard Boiled Eggs
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
2 teaspoons Fresh Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Mustard
1/4 teaspoon Sriracha
1/8 teaspoon Sea Salt
a dash of ground Black Pepper
Paprika
1 slice of Prosciutto
1 Green Onion
1 Piping Bag

Steps:

  • If you want to use crispy prosciutto as a garnish, prepare this first. Head your oven to 375 degrees, and place a slice of prosciutto on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for about 12 minutes, until it is crispy.
  • While the prosciutto is in the oven, prepare the deviled eggs. Slice the eggs in half, and use a spoon to remove the yolks and place them in the bowl of an electric mixer. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, sriracha, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix the ingredients together using an electric mixer on a medium speed. Once throughly mixed, pour the egg yolk filling into a piping bag.
  • Slice the tip off the piping bag. Pipe the egg yolk filling into the egg whites.
  • Thinly slice the green onion and crumble the prosciutto. Sprinkle the paprika over the eggs and garnish each deviled egg with some sliced green onion and crumbled prosciutto. **If you are making these a few hours ahead of time, wait to add the crispy prosciutto - you want to add it just before serving the deviled eggs. (Putting the crispy prosciutto on the eggs and into the fridge will make it loose its crispness).

2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
¾ cup all-purpose flour
1 large egg
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 ½ cups panko bread crumbs
1 serving nonstick cooking spray

Steps:

  • Cut eggs in half lengthwise and put yolks in a small bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mash with a fork until smooth. Set filling aside.
  • Place flour in a small bowl. Beat egg and hot sauce together in a separate bowl. Place panko in a third bowl.
  • Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Rinse the egg whites and place on a clean work surface. Drop in the bowl of flour; toss until coated. Dip into the beaten egg and then in the panko.
  • Place breaded egg whites in the air fryer basket. Spray tops with cooking spray. Cook for 3 minutes. Flip and spray tops with more cooking spray. Cook for 4 minutes more.
  • Place the egg whites on a serving tray and spoon yolk mixture into the centers.

8 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons ranch dressing
3 tablespoons prepared BBQ sauce
2 green onions, finely chopped

Steps:

  • Slice the eggs in half lengthwise, putting the yolks in a medium bowl and the whites on a platter. (Cover the platter with rinsed, uncooked white beans if you want to keep the egg whites from slipping around.) Use a fork to mash the yolks and mix in the mayonnaise, mustard, and ranch dressing. Place the yolk mixture into a sturdy resealable plastic bag, push into one corner, and cut off the tip to make a pastry bag. Pipe the yolk mixture into the whites. Drizzle the BBQ sauce over the eggs using a squeeze bottle (or make another little pastry bag and cut out just a tiny tip for the sauce). Sprinkle with the green onions and serve.
  • Cook's Note: For perfect boiled eggs, place the eggs in a single layer in a large saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Cover, turn off flame, and allow to sit undisturbed for 13 minutes. Rinse in cold water and peel.

1 tablespoon red sweet bell pepper, very finely chopped

1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
paprika, for garnish

  • Choose one vegetable for the filling and prepare the puree. Steam 1/4 cup of your vegetable until tender. After cooked mash with a fork or puree using a food processor or blender. If you choose spinach, steam 2 cups fresh spinach until just wilted, pat dry, and puree in a food processor. Set vegetable aside to cool. (You can of course cook a larger batch of whichever vegetable you choose and save it for another meal or recipe!)
  • Peel the eggs and slice each in half lengthwise. Place the yolks into a medium bowl. Add the yogurt, one variety of vegetable puree, mustard, vinegar, and salt, and mash with a fork to combine thoroughly. Taste and adjust the salt as needed.
  • Spoon filling into a quart-size zip top bag or piping bag. Place into the fridge until just before serving. When ready to serve, snip off one corner of the bag and pipe filling into the egg whites.
