CROCKPOT BANANA BREAD RECIPE
Steps:
- Combine butter, eggs and sugar until well combined
- Add in baking powder, baking soda and salt. mix well
- Alternate between mashed bananas and flour until all ingredients are well combined
- Grease baking pan/bread pan
- Pour bread mix into baking pan and place in crock pot
- Cover the top of the crock pot with a few paper towels
- Cook on low for 4 hours
- Carefully remove bread pan from crock pot and enjoy.

Steps:
- Put your butter and sugar in a large bowl and beat until well combined and fluffy
- Add in your eggs and beat until they are mix in well
- Grab a different bowl and mix together your flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda
- Alternate back and forth between adding a little of your flour mixture and a little of your banana to your sugar mixture while stirring until all is combined well
- Sprinkle your chopped walnuts on top and stir into your batter
- Pour your batter into a greased standard loaf pan that will fit in your 6-quart slow cooker (I used my Crock Pot 6-quart Cook and Carry). The pan will likely sit on the edges of the slow cooker and not go completely down and that is completely okay.
- Put your bread pan in your slow cooker. If it will fit all the way down, place it on a rack so it does not sit directly on the bottom. If you do not have a rack (and your pan fits all the way down), you can pour about 1/2 cup of water in the crock around the outside of the pan.
- Place several paper towels over the top on your pan to catch excess water from the lid. Be careful not to get the paper towel into your batter.
- Cover and cook on high setting for 2-3 hours, until it can pass the toothpick test

CROCK POT HEALTHIER BANANA BREAD
This is an easy quick bread and yeast free. I made some changes to lower the sugar and fat in the recipe. It is delicious! You would never know it was cooked in a crock pot. I am really happy with the way it came out. It is so simple to make as well. Enjoy!!!

- 1. Spray a bread pan or 1 quart casserole with oil cooking spray. Crumple up aluminum foil and place on bottom of crock pot.
- 2. Beat coconut oil, sugar,apple sauce and honey together until well blended.
- 3. Add the eggs and beat until blended. Add bananas, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
- 4. Stir in flours. Baking soda, and salt. Add nuts and chocolate if desired and blend.
- 5. Place batter in prepared baking dish or pan, and place in crock pot. Cover and cook on high 2-3 hours. Check on it with tooth pick inserted in to bread. You can also cook on low from 4-6 hours. Note: It took 2 hours and 20 minutes for my bread to cook in a bread pan,and in an oval crock pot

- With electric beater on low, fluff shortening in a small bowl, until soft and creamy.

- Prepare your crockpot by buttering or using non stick cooking spray to coat the bottom half of the crockpot.
- In a bowl, stir together butter, sugar, and eggs, until well combined.
- Add baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg to butter and sugar mixture.
- Stir in flour. The mixture will be a little dry at this point.
- Combine dough with mashed bananas and almonds, stir until well combined.
- Pour mixture into crockpot. Cover top of crockpot with 2-3 paper towels, and place the lid overtop. This will keep the bread moist while cooking.
- Cook on low for 4 hours. The top will be slightly browned when done and toothpick inserted in the middle will come out warm.
- After 4 hours, take a butter knife and run it along the edges of the bread to loosen the loaf. Flip it upsidedown onto a platter and let it cool. Enjoy!

- Spray 4- to 4 1/2-quart round slow cooker with cooking spray. Line bottom with cooking parchment paper, and spray again.
