Steps:
- Mix all of the dry ingredients together.
- Dip onion rings in milk, then toss in seasoned flour, separating rings.
- Deep fry in 365°F oil until crispy and just turning dark brown.
- Drain well on paper towels.
- Makes 16 servings.
- This is good served with steak, beans and barbecue sauce.

BARBECUE PEARL ONIONS
When I create sauces or rubs from scratch, I don't measure. I created this one today to use on frozen pearl onions I had. Since today is jammie day in our house, I was not going to get dressed and go out, so I had to use things I already had in the house. It was also Memorial Day, so we had to grill something. I served this with an herb marinated pork loin. **Notes: 1. These measurements are approximates. This was a pour and dump recipe. 2. If you change anything make sure you post it in the comments. 3. When I made this I defrosted the onions in the marinade.**

- Whisk all ingredients until combined.
- Add frozen pearl onions to coat.
- Marinate until pearl onions are thawed or until ready to use -- I recommend at least two hours.
- Wrap in foil pouch.
- Poke a couple of holes in packet.
- Toss on grill for 30 minutes.
- Eat and enjoy.

- Heat a large amount of oil in a deep heavy pot. Place a good amount of flour in a large bowl. Peel, wash, dry and trim the ends the onion. Place flat side down and cut into thin slices. Toss the onion pieces into flour and lightly coat. Place a mesh colander over a large pan and pour onion pieces in the colander to remove excess flour. Gently pour onion pieces into the hot oil and cook until cgolden brown, turning occasionally to keep browning even. Use a slotted spoon to quickly remove onions to a paper towel lined plate. Allow to cool. Onions will crisp-en as they cool.

BBQ ONIONS
This is a very simple 3 ingredient BBQ side dish. I think this is an easy and excellent side dish for any BBQ meat. Hope you do too.

Steps:
- Use indirect heat.
- Peel outer layers of onion and slice off a section of one end of each onion (about 1/4 of onion) With a spoon scoop out a hole in the middle of each onion.
- Place bouillon cube in hole and add some butter.
- Replace top of onion and wrap in heavy foil.
- With a closed grill cook for 1 hour or until tender.
- Cut into bite size chunks and pour juices over top.
CARAMELIZED ONION - BBQ
Great onions that go with anything that is grilled on the BBQ. A TV chef did this once and it has been a family faviorite since. Only problem is I have never measured ingredients - so adjust to suit your own taste! Also great on a sausage sandwich.
