1 16 oz. container sour cream
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 10.75 pz. can Cream of Chicken & Mushroom soup
1 6 oz. can French's Fried Onions
1 tsp garlic salt (with parsley flakes)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Arrange tater tots in a greased 9x13 pan.
  • Combine sour cream, cheese, cream of chicken/mushroom soup and garlic salt in a medium bowl. Mix well and pour over tater tots.
  • Sprinkle onions over the top of the casserole and bake for 45-50 minutes. ENJOY!

This is my gram's recipe. Sounds odd, but has a great taste. I love it because it takes only 5 minutes to make and because my kids devour it. (Gotta love tater tots)! It's great served with a green salad or fruit. Great for potlucks too.

1 1/2 lbs raw lean ground beef
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups frozen peas
1 1/2 lbs frozen tater tots
6 -8 slices American cheese
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Lightly grease a 9 x 13 pan (makes cleanup easier).
  • Spread beef in bottom of pan.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • Cover with the can of soup; spread evenly.
  • Layer the frozen peas over the meat and soup.
  • Arrange tater tots in rows over the casserole.
  • Cover and bake at 375 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • Uncover and add slices of American cheese to top of casserole.
  • Bake uncovered for 15- 20 minutes, till cheese is brown and casserole is hot and bubbly.

1/2 cup chopped onion
1 packet chili seasoning
1 (15 ounce) can chili tomatoes
1 (10 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
2 (15 ounce) cans chili beans
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag tater tots

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a saute pan, cook the hamburger and the onion until the hamburger is well browned. Drain off the fat and return to the pan. Add the chili seasoning, chili tomatoes, condensed tomato soup and chili beans. Mix well and pour into a 9x13 pan.
  • Spread the shredded cheddar cheese over the chili mixture. Layer the tater tots evenly over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until bubbly and the tater tots have nicely browned and crisped on top.

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 pinch paprika, or to taste
1 pinch dried parsley flakes, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook and stir ground beef, onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly, 7 to 10 minutes. Spread beef into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Stir cream of mushroom soup, potato nuggets, and Cheddar cheese together in a large bowl until potato nuggets are evenly coated in soup and cheese. Spread potato nugget mixture over beef mixture.

6 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon hot sauce
4 ounce can diced green chilies
2 cups Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded - divided)
28 ounce bag frozen tater tots

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Add the olive oil to a large skillet on the stove over medium high heat.
  • Add the onions and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Add the breakfast sausage to the skillet, crumble and cook for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove the onions & sausage from the heat and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt, pepper and hot sauce together.
  • Stir in the diced green chilies, 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and the cooked sausage and onion.
  • Spray an 8" x 10" baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the baking dish.
  • Arrange the tater tots in an even layer on top.
  • Place in the oven to bake uncovered for 50 minutes.
