THELMA'S APPLE CRISP IN A LOAF PAN
My mother, Thelma Neese Gwaltney, made the world's best apple crisp. It filled the kitchen with its cinnamon-y scent, telling me that night's dinner would be special. I loved the apples, but the crispy topping was my favorite. I have recently put the finishing touches on duplicating her recipe, and here it is. And--oh, by the...

- 4. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes. Turn upside down onto a platter and remove wax paper. Allow to cool thoroughly. When cooled, cover with topping mixture and refrigerate.
KITTY'S APPLE CRISP
If you like your apple crisps without oats, then this crisp is for you. It has a lot of crumb that covers and fills in-between the apples. When it bakes, it sort of creates a cobbler-like texture on the inside and a buttery crisp crumb on top. The mix of tart spiced apples makes this an awesome (and easy) apple crisp recipe.

CINNAMON APPLE CRISP
Jenni's shared a great, basic old-fashioned apple crisp recipe that even a beginner baker could make. It does not make a huge crisp, so perfect for a small family. The apples are coated with a little cinnamon sugar that allows the apples to be the star of the dessert. The crisp sprinkled on top is buttery, full of spices, and...

APPLE CRISP
Member's Choice! This is one really good apple crisp. It has all the classic crisp flavors and tastes like fall in every bite. The apples and brown sugar mixture makes the perfect sauce in this crisp. We love the crunch of the crust. If you don't like oats in your apple crisp, give this recipe a try. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a bit of whipped cream... delish!
