EASY RANCH SLOPPY JOES



Easy Ranch Sloppy Joes image

1.5 lb ground beef
1 sweet onion (diced)
1 green bell pepper (diced)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 envelope (1 oz dry ranch mix)
1 envelope (.7 oz dry Italian dressing mix)
3/4 C beef broth
4 sandwich buns
Optional: Shredded Mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown beef, stirring to crumble as it cooks. Strain excess grease from pan.
  • Return beef back to skillet, add onion, pepper and garlic. Stir to combine. Add both envelopes of seasonings and beef broth. Stir well. Bring just to a boil then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Serve on sandwich buns with shredded mozzarella cheese if desired.

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
3⁄4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix Shaker
6 sandwich buns

Steps:

  • In a large skillet placed over medium heat, heat the oil until very hot but not smoking. Add the beef, breaking up with a spoon, and sauté until browned.
  • Mix the brown sugar, vinegar and ketchup together in a small bowl until well combined.
  • Pour mixture over beef, and stir until the meat is coated in the sauce. Sprinkle the flour and Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix Shaker into the beef mixture and cook, until the sauce has thickened slightly, about 5-10 minutes.
  • Pile into sandwich buns and serve immediately.

Steps:

  • Add ground beef and chopped onions to a skillet and saute until beef is browned and onions are tender. Drain fat from pan.
  • Turn off heat and add cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and black pepper. Stir into beef until the cream cheese has melted and all ingredients are combined.
  • Serve on hamburger buns.

3 tablespoons milk
4 tablespoons sour cream
1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring

Steps:

  • Place ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring to crumble, until evenly browned. Drain off excess grease. Stir in cream of mushroom soup (undiluted), milk and liquid smoke. Reduce heat to low, and cook just until hot. Stir in sour cream, and season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Serve on hamburger buns.

2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 c chopped onion
2 celery ribs with leaves, chopped
1/4 c chopped green pepper
1 2/3 c canned crushed tomatoes
1/4 c ketchup
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp white vinegar
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp steak sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground mustard
1/4 tsp paprika (I use Hungarian as it has more flavor than the regular)
8 sandwich buns, split

Steps:

  • 1. In a Dutch oven over medium heat brown your ground beef, onion, celery and green pepper until the meat is no longer pink and the veggies are tender; drain.
  • 2. Add the next 9 ingredients; mix well.
  • 3. Simmer uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • 4. Spoon 1/2 cup of the meat mixture into each bun. Enjoy!
