PORK CHOPS WITH SOUR CREAM SAUCE

Steps:
- Combine sage, salt and pepper and rub the chops on both sides with the mixture. Brown chops on both sides, lightly, in hot fat. Drain off excess fat. Add the onions and consomme. Cover and simmer 30 minutes, or until the meat is almost done.
- Combine sour cream and flour and pour it over the chops. Simmer, uncovered, 8 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve. Use the extra sauce over white rice, wide egg noodles, or mashed potatoes.

Steps:
- Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper.
- Spray non-stick skillet with cooking spray.
- Heat; add chops; cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Turn chops; cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
- In small bowl, mix 1/2 cup broth with barbecue sauce; pour over chops.
- Cover tightly; simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove chops; keep warm.
- In same bowl, mix remaining broth, milk, sour cream and flour.
- Beat until smooth.
- Pour into skillet, cook and stir on med heat for 2 minutes.
- Serve sauce over chops.

SOUR CREAM PAPRIKA PORK

- I make this a lot for me and my hubby I buy pork fillet that usually vary in weight from 420g-460g for the two of us and this is perfect for us.
- Slice pork diagonally (allow 3-4 slices per person) and beat with a meat mallet to flatten slightly.
- Heat some olive oil in a pan. Dust pork with flour and shake away any excess flour. Place pork in pan and cook until browned on both sides and tender.
- For the Sauce.
- Heat about a Tablespoon of olive oil in a pan, add onion and garlic and cook until soft. Add the butter to the pan along with the sliced mushrooms cook until mushrooms are tender.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, paprika, water, chicken stock and lemon juice. Simmer for a few minutes and pour in sour cream stir until heated through.
- To serve place sliced pork on plate and pour sauce over. I served mine with cauliflower mash and garlic butter vegetables.

- Toss pork with flour and seasonings. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat; saute pork until lightly browned, 4-5 minutes., Add cream; bring to a boil, stirring to loosen browned bits from pan. SOUR CREAM PORK CHOPS

- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and then dredge in 1/2 cup flour. In a skillet over medium heat, lightly brown chops in a small amount of oil.
- Place chops in slow cooker, and top with onion slices. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and pour over chops. Cover, and cook on Low 7 to 8 hours.
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C).
- After the chops have cooked, transfer chops to the oven to keep warm. Be careful, the chops are so tender they will fall apart. In a small bowl, blend 2 tablespoons flour with the sour cream; mix into meat juices. Turn slow cooker to High for 15 to 30 minutes, or until sauce is slightly thickened. Serve sauce over pork chops.

- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season pork tenderloins with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook pork in the oil, turning until browned on all sides, 5 to 6 minutes. - Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Drizzle the olive oil in a large skillet set over medium-high heat and brown the pork chops on both side. Remove the chops to a plate.
- Add the butter to the skillet and sauté the onions over medium heat until translucent. Add the garlic and sauté for about one additional minute. Then add the broth to the skillet and use a wooden spatula to scrape up any brown bits from the bottom.
- Add the bay leaf, paprika, and salt to the onion mixture, and then place the pork chops back in the skillet. Cover tightly, reduce the heat, and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.
- Remove the chops to a plate again and cover with aluminum foil. Remove the bay leaf from the remaining hot liquid.
