CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING WITH GRAND MARNIER SAUCE
I'm told by everyone, this is from heaven, have only had one spoonful to taste it and I think they are right! A little time consuming to make but apparently worth it.

MARNIER BREAD PUDDING
This makes a single serving of semi sweet bread pudding. Serve with syrup, or a sweet sauce. For me, equal parts berries, sugar and Grand Marnier heated on the stovetop, strained and thickened with some cornstarch to make a syrup is heaven.

- Grand Marnier Cranberry Sauce. Grand Marnier is the perfect Christmas drink for adults and children alike. And this cranberry and Grand Marnier dessert is no exception.
- Brandy Snaps With Grand Marnier Filling. These simple, four-ingredient Brandy snaps are like crackers, but better! You’ll need buttery graham crackers for the base; melted butter for the filling and topping; vanilla ice cream for a dollop of sweet goodness; and Grand Marnier for the fruity kick.
- Grand Marnier Cafe. This is an indulgent version of the classic Grand Marnier dessert. I’m sure you have a brand-name cocktail mixer in your kitchen. If not, don’t worry; this recipe would be perfect with alcohol-free alternatives.
- Cran-Marnier Hard Cider. While most hard cider recipes call for apple cider, this is a great recipe to use any sugary fruit you might have. If you’re making something like a sangria or an apple wine, add some pink grapefruit and pineapple to the mix.
- Fruity White Wine And Grand Marnier Sangria. The fruitiness of white wines makes them the ideal match to this drink. Between the orange, lemon, and pineapple flavor, it’s hard not to like this drink.
GRAND MARNIER PUDDING - A PLEASANT LITTLE KITCHEN
From apleasantlittlekitchen.com
- In a large saucepan combine the cream, milk, salt, vanilla extract, Grand Marnier and butter. Cook over medium-low heat until the butter is melted, about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- While the cream is warming, whisk the egg yolks and sugar in a large mixing bowl until combined. Whisk the cornstarch into the yolk and sugar mixture. Do this in small batches, until there are no lumps of cornstarch.
- Remove the liquid from the stovetop and temper the sugar egg mixture. To temper, whisk the egg mixture quickly while slowly adding the warm liquid (about 1/4 cup at a time) until all the liquid is combined. Now you have created a custard.
- Pour the custard back into the saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat. Whisk constantly until the custard is thick and almost boils, about 6 to 8 minutes. Using a fine mesh seive, strain the pudding into a large bowl. Cool. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
