This is absolutely wonderful. I cook this on Sundays while we're at church. Also good in the crock pot. The chicken is so tender, it melts in your mouth! I serve this with rice and green peas. YUMMY!

8 boneless chicken breasts
3/4 lb dried beef
1 (10 ounce) can 98% fat-free cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) sour cream
1/4 cup white wine (optional)

Steps:

  • Spray 9 x 13 x 2" baking dish.
  • Pound chicken until thin.
  • Roll chicken with dried beef.
  • Slice and secure with a toothpick.
  • Blend soup, sour cream, and wine until smooth.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Bake covered 300* for 2 hours.
  • Uncover, cook at 350* for another 20 minutes.

1 (3 ounce) package dried beef, in slices
8 -10 whole boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 -10 slices bacon
2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
paprika

Steps:

  • In large casserole dish, place a layer of dried beef slices, slightly overlapping each other.
  • Wrap a slice of bacon around each chicken breast and place on top of dried beef.
  • In a saucepan, heat together the cream cheese, sour cream, and undiluted mushroom soup.
  • Heat through until cream cheese is partially melted.
  • Pour sauce over chicken.
  • Sprinkle each breast with paprika.
  • Cover and bake for 2 hours at 350.
  • When serving, spoon soup mixture over each chicken breast and serve extra soup mixture in gravy boat or pitcher.

1 jar dried beef
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
6 -8 slices lean bacon
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pint sour cream

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350.
  • Layer dried beef slices over the bottom of a 9x9 baking pan.
  • Lay chicken breasts over the beef slices.
  • Arrange the strips of bacon over the chicken, making sure to cover the chicken completely.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mix the cream of mushroom soup and the sour cream together.
  • Blend well.
  • Pour the soup mixture over the top of the bacon, and spread to cover entirely.
  • (There will be significant juices and fat in the pan- do not drain- the soup will combine with the juices to make the sauce).
  • Return the pan to the oven and continue baking for another 30 minutes, or until the chicken is very tender and the sauce is browned on top.
  • Cut into serving portions.

8 slices dried beef (in a jar)
8 skinless boneless chicken breast halves (7 ounces each)
4 slices bacon, cut in half
1 cup sour cream
One 10 3/4-ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Lay one piece of dried beef on each chicken breast and wrap with a half slice of bacon. Place in a 13 × 9-inch casserole dish, seam side down. Mix sour cream, soup, and mushrooms together. Pour over chicken breasts. Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with rice.

4 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
salt

4 slices bacon
1 (4 ounce) package dried beef
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
12 ounces sour cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
  • Spray deep baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Lightly salt and pepper each chicken breast. Wrap each in 1 strip of bacon.
  • Cut dried beef in half and into ribbons. Put in a strainer and run under hot water for about 30 seconds to reduce saltiness. Place 2/3 of it in the bottom of baking dish. Place chicken breasts on top of dried beef. Mix soup, sour cream, garlic powder and the rest of the dried beef. Pour on top of chicken breasts making sure to completely cover them. Bake in preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours. Topping will be lightly golden brown.
