This Zero Point Ranch Dip is so easy to make. Use it as a creamy delicious accompaniment to crudites and low point chips / crisps!

1 cup fat free greek yogurt / fat free natural yogurt ((250g))
2 tbsp Ranch dressing mix (I use Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning) ((20g))

Steps:

  • In a small bowl add 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing mix to 1 cup of fat free Greek yogurt.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • Serve as a dip for chopped carrots, sweet peppers, cucumber sticks, tomatoes etc.
  • Alternatively it can be used as a dip for low SmartPoint chips or low point crisps.

When served with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables like cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks, and cucumber slices, it's a total crowd pleaser. This dip combines all those favorite Mexican flavors like salsa, avocado and cilantro, using fat-free Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. It also makes a wonderful topping for tacos and makes serving them super easy because you don't have to set out separate bowls of salsa, sour cream, avocado, cilantro and onion. For variation, you could make Mexican turkey burgers and use it as spread.

I serve it with baked Tostitos chips for a guilt-free treat, but no one would ever guess it's low fat if you served it to guests. Keep in mind, the creamy ingredients cool down the salsa, so a hot salsa will yield a nice medium dip. Great way to get your mexican dip fix. Enjoy!
