CRAB AND ROASTED PEPPER SPREAD



Crab and Roasted Pepper Spread image

This is going to be a great addition to your next get-together. The sweet roasted red peppers are in every bite. There's a bit of a kick from the tabasco that we loved. If you don't like things spicy, cut back on that a bit. Simple and delicious!

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 pkg 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/3 c mayonnaise
16 oz canned lumpmeat crab (remove any shell fragments)
1/3 c roasted pepper (drained/chopped/from a jar)
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 large lemon (zest and juice)
1/4 tsp tabasco sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Place all of the ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Mix, by hand, with a large spoon.
  • 2. When well mixed, transfer to a crock. Cover and chill well.
  • 3. Serve cold with your favorite cracker(s) and/or toast points.

3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 can (6 ounces) crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
1 tablespoon grated onion
Assorted crackers

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise and ketchup; beat until smooth. Stir in the crab and onion. Serve with crackers.
