CREAMY BACON PASTA BAKE
Creamy bacon sauce makes this pasta bake a delicious, comforting dinner. This is the perfect recipe to make-ahead and feed a crowd.

- Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.
- In a large, oven-proof pan, fry the bacon until it starts to crisp. Remove from the pan and set aside. Drain off the bacon fat and reserve for cooking with.
- In the same pan, melt the butter and add the onion. Allow to cook until soft.
- Add the garlic and sage and cook for a minute before adding the flour.
- Stir the flour into the butter then whisk in the milk and cream. Reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce is thick and creamy. Remove from the heat then stir in the bacon, Parmesan and half of the grated cheese. Season to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta and some of the pasta cooking water. Stir to coat the pasta in the sauce. At this stage, the sauce should look quite thin. The pasta will absorb more sauce as it cooks so if it looks too dry at this stage, add more pasta cooking water.
- Top with the remaining cheese and more sage leaves if desired then place in the oven.
- Allow to bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, allow to cool for 10 minutes then serve.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 12 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain fat and stir in spaghetti sauce.
- Drain spaghetti and place in a bowl. Add cream cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt. Stir until cream cheese is melted and spaghetti is thoroughly coated. Spread a small amount of meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking pan; put spaghetti on top and top with remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly, about 30 minutes.

- Heat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Using a large oven safe skillet, if you have one, brown your meat and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bump the heat up to medium high if it isn't already and add your sauce.
- Cook until your sauce just starts to bubble from the heat, but not boil. If it starts to boil, turn your heat down.
- Add your cream cheese, stir until thoroughly combined.
- Add your pasta to your skillet and stir to coat the pasta.
- If your not using an oven safe skillet, place the meat/pasta mix into a baking dish.

- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Add the cream cheese to the bottom of a baking dish and pour the tomatoes in around it. Evenly season the cream cheese and tomatoes with the olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper. Add the tablespoons of butter in three different pads on top of the tomatoes.

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; cook the rotini at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes; drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Toss in chicken, onion powder, garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, and black pepper. Cook and stir until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 7 minutes. Reduce heat to low.
- Whisk chicken broth and flour together in a bowl until well blended. Pour over the chicken in the skillet. - Heat oven to 400ºF.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cook pasta according to directions on the box, set aside.
- Brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic until cooked through.
- In a bowl, combine 8 ounces softened cream cheese, 1 cup sour cream, and one egg. Blend thoroughly.
- Add spaghetti sauce to the cheese mixture. Blend thoroughly.
- Add one cup shredded Italian cheese. Mix together.
- In a casserole dish, combine 13.25 oz (one box) whole wheat rotini, ground beef mixture, and sauce blend.
- Top with remaining 1/2 cup Italian Cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 25-35 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly.

- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Right before draining, reserve a cup of starchy pasta water.
- Meanwhile, in a pan heat a drizzle of olive oil over a medium heat and fry garlic and ham for a few minutes until lightly browned.
- Melt in 2 tbsp butter, then add about 1/3 cup of starchy pasta water. Quickly whisk in a circular motion to create an emulsion and combine the starchy water with the butter. The water should go cloudy and thicken slightly.
- Turn heat down slightly then stir in cream cheese and add parmesan. Season to taste then add spaghetti. Toss through the sauce, using your starchy water to thin out the sauce if needed. Serve with extra helpings of parmesan. Enjoy!
