1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup shortening (not oil)
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 can pie filling (cherry or apple)

Steps:

Combine all ingredients EXCEPT pie filling with a mixer for two minutes.
Pour into 9 inch pie pan.
Make a hole in the center and pour the pie filling in.
Sprinkle the cinnamon over the top and bake in a 350ºF.
oven for 40 to 45 minutes.

Put all in blender and blend for one minute, or beat with mixer for 2 minutes (scraping sides of bowl).
Grease and flour a 10 inch pie pan (glass can be used). Pour in mixture.
Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees F.

Place all ingredients into a blender, put blender on medium speed and count to ten --.
pour into a 9" deep dish pie pan.
