1 lb thin spaghetti
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, sliced
1 sweet red pepper, sliced
1 bunch broccoli, separated into flowerets
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 cups half-and-half
1/2 cup butter
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon liquid hot pepper sauce
1 lb crabmeat or 1 lb imitation crabmeat, coarsely shredded
lemon slice (to garnish)

Steps:

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
  • Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add onion and red pepper; cook 3 minutes.
  • Add broccoli and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until tender.
  • Heat half-and-half and butter in small saucepan until butter is melted.
  • Stir in cheese, salt, and hot pepper sauce.
  • Add cream mixture and crabmeat to skillet.
  • Heat through over medium heat.
  • Toss with cooked, drained pasta in large bowl.
  • Garnish with lemon.

1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup prepared Alfredo sauce
2 tablespoons chicken broth
1 package (8 ounces) imitation crabmeat, flaked
2 cups hot cooked fettuccine or pasta of your choice

Steps:

  • In a skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. Add mushrooms; cook and stir for 3 minutes or until tender. Stir in the sauce and broth until blended. Add the crab. Reduce heat; cook for 10 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Serve over pasta.

non-fat cooking spray
4 garlic cloves
3 tablespoons cooking sherry
1 cup fat-free chicken broth
12 ounces broccoli
8 ounces baby portabella mushrooms
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon savory
1/4 teaspoon parsley
1/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
2 cups fat-free half-and-half
3 slices fat-free American cheese
1 cup reduced-fat parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons I Can't Believe It's Not Butter® Spread
2 tablespoons flour
1 (6 ounce) can white crab meat

Steps:

  • Begin cooking bow ties in boiling water, according to package.
  • Mince garlic cloves; coarsely chop broccoli; slice mushrooms.
  • Spray large saucepan with cooking spray and begin heating on medium high.
  • In large saucepan, combine minced garlic, 1/2 cup chicken broth, sherry, broccoli, mushrooms, red pepper, sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, basil, parsley.
  • Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain crab meat and combine in a dish with Old Bay Seasoning.
  • Heat half-and-half, 1/2 cup chicken broth and parmesean cheese in small saucepan on medium.
  • Whisk together above until incorporated; add savory.
  • Tear cheese slices into small pieces and add to small saucepan, continuing heating.
  • Uncover mushroom and broccoli mix and allow to boil.
  • Combine butter and flour in small microwave-save dish; heat in microwave on high for 20 seconds; remove, mix with fork or whisk; heat again on high for 20 seconds; remove, mix with fork or whisk - makes a quick roux for thickening agent.
  • Add roux and seasoned crab meat to small saucepan. Continue heating and whisking until cheese melts and all ingredients are melded, approx 4 minutes.
  • Drain pasta.
  • Serve scoops of pasta topped with scoops of mushroom/broccoli topped with spoonfuls of crap alfredo and enjoy!

  • 2. Heat oil in large skillet over med neat. Add onion and red pepper cook 3 minutes. Add broccoli and garlic cook stirring occasionally 5 minutes till tender.
  • 3. Heat half and half and butter in small saucepan until butter is melted. Stir in cheese and salt. Add cream mixture and crab meat to skillet. Heat through over med heat. Toss with cooked drained pasta.

3/4 cup milk
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons light cream cheese
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup romano cheese, grated
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon crushed basil
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
8 large crab legs, cooked & meat removed or 10 ounces lump crabmeat, cartilage removed
1 cup sliced mushrooms
12 ounces whole grain fettuccine

Steps:

  • Melt butter in saucepan. Add cream cheese.
  • When softened, add cream and parmesan. Add garlic, and stir well.
  • Simmer 15-20 minutes.
  • Boil pasta according to package directions, drain, & set aside.
  • If boiling your own, boil crab legs, crack open & remove meat. Press meat lightly between paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • Mix everything together & serve.
