6 1/2 ounces top quality crabmeat (fresh, canned "or" frozen)
12 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 small onion, grated
0.5 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
dried parsley flakes

Steps:

  • Whip cream cheese with mixer.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, mayonnaise and onion; mix well.
  • Spread evenly on a serving platter.
  • Spread 1/2 bottle chili sauce over the cream cheese mixture.
  • Flake drained crabmeat over the top.
  • Sprinkle with dried parley flakes.
  • Serve with Frito scoops or with crackers as a spread.

8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons minced onions
2 teaspoons lemon juice
12 ounces crabmeat
1 (12 ounce) bottle seafood cocktail sauce
dried parsley

Steps:

  • First layer - Mix cream cheese, sour cream, onion, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Spread this on the bottom of a flat serving dish.
  • Second layer - Spread bottle of cocktail sauce on top of this.
  • Third layer - Spread crab meat and lemon juice over sauce.
  • Fourth - Sprinkle parsley flakes over crab meat for garnish.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours.
  • Serve with crackers!

Yield 2 cups (8 servings).

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 can (6 ounces) crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
Paprika
Assorted crackers or vegetables

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients. To serve chilled, cover and refrigerate until serving. Sprinkle with paprika., To serve warm, spoon into a greased 3-cup baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 15 minutes or until heated through. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
