Cowboy Shandy image

Highwest's Campfire whiskey is a blend of Scotch, bourbon, and rye; a gently peaty blended Scotch is the next best thing.

Yield Makes 1 cocktail

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 1/4 ounces Highwest Campfire whiskey or blended Scotch
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup
8 ounces chilled lager
Lemon twist (for serving)

Steps:

  • Combine whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Cover and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is very cold, about 20 seconds. Strain into a pint glass partly filled with ice. Top with beer and stir gently to combine. Garnish with lemon twist.
