COUNTRY PASTA WITH MOZZARELLA



Country Pasta with Mozzarella image

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 cups broccoli, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 (8-ounce) package rigatoni pasta, cooked
1 (8-ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 Garnish: fresh parsley, chopped

Steps:

  • Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until bacon is crisp. Add broccoli and garlic; cook until broccoli is crisp-tender. Stir in rigatoni, mozzarella, Parmesan and cayenne; heat through until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley. Tip: Casseroles spell comfort food...but what if the recipe is large and your family is small? Simple...just divide the casserole ingredients into 2 small dishes and freeze one for later!
