COPYCAT MCDONALD'S PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE RECIPE

Steps:

• Heat 3 cups of the milk and the pumpkin in a pot over medium heat. Stir with a silicone spatula until incorporated, about 20 seconds.
• Grind the cardamom pod in a mortar and pestle.
• Add the ground cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, sugar, and instant coffee to the milk. Mix for a further 20 seconds.
• Foam the remaining 1/2 cup milk with a foaming machine or electric whisk.
• Pour the coffee into glasses, top with foamed milk, sprinkle with cinnamon powder, and enjoy!

COPYCAT PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE

Steps:

• To a large 16-ounce mug, add the brewed espresso* and pumpkin syrup** (see Notes).
• Steam and froth the milk***, then pour it into the mug, using the back of a spoon to hold back the frothed part of the milk.
• Then spoon the milk froth onto the top of the drink.
• Optionally top with whipped topping or simply just leave it as-is with the frothed milk.

STARBUCKS PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE (COPYCAT)

Steps:

• In a small saucepan, stir pumpkin puree into milk.
• Add vanilla syrup and pumpkin pie spice.
• Heat gently, continuing to stirring occasionally just until steaming and foam begins to appear.
• Pour pumpkin flavored milk into a tall mug and pour espresso over.
• Top with whip cream and a dash of pumpkin pie spice.
• Note: If you like it slightly sweeter; add a bit of vanilla flavored coffee cream.
