COPYCAT APPLE PIE LARABAR™ BARS
This DIY-version of fan-favorite Larabar™ bars is easier to make than you think, using just a few simple, real food ingredients like dates, nuts and apples.

Steps:
- Place all ingredients in bowl of large food processor fitted with blade attachment.
- Process 2 to 3 minutes or until evenly processed and mixture just starts to come together into a ball.
- Press mixture firmly and evenly in parchment-lined 8-inch square pan. Refrigerate 1 hour to set.
- Turn bars out onto cutting board; cut into 8 large rectangles or 16 smaller squares, and serve.
- Store leftovers in resealable food-storage plastic bag or resealable storage container in refrigerator.

- Add all the ingredients to a food processor and pulse until a paste is formed. If the mixture is too wet, add more nuts. If it’s too dry, add more dates and/or a little water until it reaches the desired consistency.
- Once you have a chewy “paste” to work with, spread it out on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. It won’t take up the whole sheet. Refrigerate to make it easier to cut into bars.
- The bars are approximately 5 inches long and 1 inch wide, and you can get 8 bars out of the batch. Keep refrigerated and wrapped in wax paper to stay fresh.

- Soak: Pick the flavor you're going to make. It's best if you soak the dates (and if your recipe has them, the raisins) in hot water for 30 minutes before using.
- Blitz: Add all the ingredients to a food processor (if making Cookie Dough bars, do not add chocolate chips yet). Blitz until the ingredients are finely broken down and evenly combined.
- Shape: Shape dough into a rectangle. It should be about ½ inch (1½ cm) thick. For best cutting results, transfer to a plate or cutting board and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Cut: Cut rectangle into bars. Wrap each bar in parchment or wax paper. Store in the fridge until ready to eat.
