Frozen Chocolate Whips ~ Low Carb Ice Cream Treat image

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
4 Tbsp . of Cocoa Powder [use 3 Tbsp. for a more milk chocolate flavor] (affiliate link)
2 1/2 Tbsp . Swerve Sweetener [these can also be made with sugar or other sweeteners
1/2 tsp . vanilla extract (affiliate link)
1 pinch of sea salt (affiliate link)

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and beat on high with the whip attachment until the whipped cream has firm peaks. Transfer the chocolate whipped cream to a piping bag fitted with a 1M piping tip. On a parchment lined baking sheet swirl the whipped cream around into large mounds like soft serve ice cream. Make around 12 or so and freeze on the baking sheet for at least 1 hour. They will be set at this point and you can eat them or transfer them to a freezer safe plastic tub for easy eating later (affiliate links).
  • If you are wondering each frozen chocolate whip has around 70 calories and 7-8 grams of fat... and 1.5 net carbs!

Steps:

  • Process strawberries, COOL WHIP and milk in food processor until smooth.
  • Spoon into freezer container.
  • Freeze 1 hour or until firm enough to scoop.
  • Serve in cones.

1 3/4 c cold milk
2 pkg (4-serve) jell-o chocolate instant pudding
3 1/2 c thawed cool whip
1 chocolate pie crust
(2) STRAWBERRY YOGURT PIE
3 (5.3-oz) containers strawberry yogurt
1 c sliced fresh strawberries (may use frozen)
3 1/2 c thawed cool whip
1 graham cracker pie crust
(3) LEMONADE STAND PIE
1 pt softened vanilla ice cream
1 can(s) (6 oz) frozen lemonade, thawed
3 1/2 c cool whip
1 graham cracker pie crust

Steps:

  • 1. COOL 'N CREAMY CHOCOLATE PIE Place milk in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in the pudding mix for 2 minutes. Stir in Cool Whip until well mixed. Spoon into pie crust and refrigerate 4 hours.
  • 2. STRAWBERRY YOGURT PIE Place yogurt in large mixing bowl. Stir in the strawberries. Fold in Cool Whip until well mixed. Spoon into pie crust and freeze 4 hours. Remove from freezer 15 minutes before slicing to serve.
  • 3. LEMONADE STAND PIE Place softened vanilla ice cream in large mixing bowl. Stir in the thawed lemonade concentrate (do not dilute). Stir in Cool Whip until well mixed. Spoon into pie crust and freeze 4 hours. Remove from freezer 15 minutes before slicing to serve.

1 cup milk
1 (12 ounce) carton Cool Whip, thawed

Steps:

  • In blender, briefly combine milk and pudding powder until smooth. Quickly pour into small bowl and let stand 5 minutes.
  • Use bowl scraper to fold the pudding into the cool whip, combining well.
  • Cover tightly and freeze several hours for Dairy Queen soft texture or freeze overnight for firm texture, that you can scoop like ice cream.
