COOL WEATHER CORNMEAL CRUNCH SUET CAKES FOR THE BIRDS

Cool Weather Cornmeal Crunch Suet Cakes for the Birds image

Recipe #3 of suet recipes I have handwritten from somewhere at sometime. I'm sorry I cannot remember where I found these recipes. I use this particular recipe only in cold weather as the lard will break down otherwise and all you'll have is a mess.

COOL WEATHER BIRD SUET MOLDS

Cool Weather Bird Suet Molds image

I have no idea where I found this recipe...I have this one and 3 others that I wrote down at the same time but did not record from where. The birds in VA seem to like this assortment. It does only work in the winter months though as too much sun will melt this suet cake.
