Wings In Cola image

Chicken wings in a slightly sweet sauce. Good as an appetizer, or when paired with a side dish and salad. These make a fun meal!

4 pounds chicken wings, tips discarded
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 (12 fluid ounce) can cola-flavored carbonated beverage
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Place chicken wings in a shallow casserole dish. Season with garlic salt and onion salt. Mix cola, sugar, and soy sauce; pour mixture over chicken wings.
  • Bake, covered, at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 2 hours. Turn wings over every 30 minutes. Uncover, and bake for an additional 1 to 2 hours. Turn wings every 30 minutes or so.

3 pounds chicken wings
1 cup Louisiana-style hot sauce
1 can (12 ounces) cola
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Blue cheese salad dressing

Steps:

  • Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tip sections. In a small bowl, combine hot sauce, cola, soy sauce, cayenne and pepper., Prepare grill for indirect heat, using a drip pan. Grill chicken wings, covered, over indirect medium heat on an oiled rack for 10 minutes. Grill 30-40 minutes longer, turning occasionally and basting frequently with sauce until wings are nicely glazed. Serve with salad dressing.

10-Minute Cola Wings Recipe by Tasty image

Frozen chicken wings are crisped in a skillet, then glazed in reduced cola soda and soy sauce for a sticky, silky sauce that's incredibly delicious-and easy! Avoid using diet soda, as it will not yield the same results.

1 teaspoon olive oil
6 chicken wings, frozen, thawed
2 tablespoons soy sauce
¾ cup cola soda
scallion, sliced, for garnish

Steps:

  • Heat the olive oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken wings and sear for 1-2 minute per side, until just crispy.
  • Add the soy sauce and cola and increase the heat to high. Bring to boil and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce is reduced and syrupy and the wings are warmed through and well coated, 5-7 minutes.
  • Garnish with scallions and serve immediately.
  • Enjoy!

  • measure out your ingredients in a jug and stir
  • Add all of the ingredients from the jug into a frying pan along with your chicken wings
  • put on a high heat till it start to boil
  • Once boiling ruduce the heat to a low simmer
  • Allow all the sauce to be absorbed to the wings. Stiring oftern to coat all the wing in the sauce.
  • Once all the sauce has been absorbed by the wings and they are sticky remove from the frying pan and serve.
