2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 can (12 ounces) cola
1 cup butter, cubed
1/4 cup baking cocoa
2 large eggs, room temperature
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
GLAZE:
1 can (12 ounces) cola
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1/4 cup baking cocoa
4 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 13x9-in. baking pan., In a large bowl, whisk the first 5 ingredients. In a small saucepan, combine cola, butter and cocoa; bring just to a boil, stirring occasionally. Add to flour mixture, stirring just until moistened., In a small bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk and vanilla until blended; add to flour mixture, whisking constantly., Transfer to prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean., About 15 minutes before cake is done, prepare glaze. In a small saucepan, bring cola to a boil; cook 12-15 minutes or until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. Stir in butter and cocoa until butter is melted; remove from heat. Add confectioners' sugar; stir until smooth. Pour immediately over hot cake.

1/2 cup butter, cubed
2 to 3 tablespoons baking cocoa

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar and baking soda; set aside. , In a saucepan, bring butter, cocoa and cola to a boil; stir into dry ingredients. Stir in buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and marshmallows; mix well. , Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until cake tests done. , For icing, combine butter, cocoa and cola in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; stir in confectioners' sugar and mix well. Spread over hot cake. Sprinkle with nuts. Cool before cutting.

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup butter
1 ½ cups miniature marshmallows

1 cup cola-flavored carbonated beverage
½ cup buttermilk
½ cup butter
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
6 tablespoons cola-flavored carbonated beverage
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Combine flour and white sugar in mixing bowl. Heat 1 cup butter, 3 tablespoons cocoa, and 1 cup cola soft drink to boiling and pour over the flour and sugar. Mix thoroughly.
  • Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda, vanilla, and marshmallows and mix well.
  • Bake in a prepared 9 by 13 inch pan for 40 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • While still hot, frost with Coco Cola Frosting: Combine 1/2 cup butter or margarine, 2 tablespoons cocoa and 6 tablespoons cola soft drink and heat to boiling. Pour over 4 cups confectioners' sugar and mix well. Mix in chopped nuts and spread over hot cake.

1 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
3 cups powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour and sugar in large bowl. In small saucepan, heat 1 cup butter, 3 tablespoons cocoa and 1 cup Coca-Cola. Bring to simmer and then pour over flour mixture. Stir well. Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Mix. Add marshmallows. Pour into 9x13 pan for 35 minutes.
  • To make the frosting, in a saucepan combine 1/2 cup butter, 6 tablespoons Coca-Cola, and 3 tablespoons cocoa. Bring to a boil. Pour over bowl with powdered sugar. Beat well. Spread evenly over warm cake. Let cool. Serve.

My husband requests this for his birthday cake every year. My MIL says it's even better than Cracker Barrel! Imagine that, a compliment from the MIL! This cake is amazing warm served with vanilla ice cream but I'm told it's even better the next day.

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter
1 cup cola, beverage
5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
7 ounces marshmallow cream
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
9 tablespoons cola, this should be the remaining cola left in a 12oz can
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • Cake:.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Spray a 9x13 glass pan with nonstick spray.
  • Combine flour, granulated sugar and baking soda in mixing bowl.
  • In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup butter, 5 tablespoons cocoa and 1 cup cola beverage to boiling. (whisk together as it melts).
  • Pour over the flour mixture and mix thoroughly. I just use a whisk for this because it comes together so easily.
  • Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
  • Pour into prepared 9x13 pan.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
  • During last 10 minutes of baking prepare frosting.
  • Prepare Second Frosting:.
  • Place 5 cups confectioners' sugar in a mixing bowl.
  • In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup butter, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder and 9 tablespoons cola beverage. Whisk together. Heat to boiling.
  • Remove from heat, stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  • Pour over 4 cups confectioners' sugar.
  • Mix well with a whisk.
  • Assembly:.
  • Remove cake from oven.
  • Immediately frost with marshmallow cream. Go slow. This will prevent tearing the cake. As the fluff warms a bit it will spread easily.
  • Slowly pour warm coco-cola frosting over marshmallow fluff.
  • It's best to let this cake cool for about an hour before cutting into it.

  • 2 Sticks Margarine or butter, 3 TBLS Cocoa, and 1 cup coke.
  • Pour this over the dry ingredients you sat aside. and mix in:.
  • 1/2cup buttermilk w/1TSP soda; 2 well beaten eggs; 1 TSPS vanilla; 1 1/2cups minature marshmallows.
  • Bake 350 for 30 minutes.
  • When the cake is half done begin making the

  • 1/2cup Butter or Margarine; 6 TBLS Coke; 3 TBLS Cocoa.
  • Bring to a boil and slowly add the box of powdered sugar (and if you like 1 cup nuts).
  • Once Icing is mixed well and cake is done pour the hot icing over the hot cake.

1 cup boiling water
1 box (4-serving size) Jell-O™ strawberry-flavored gelatin

1 tube (0.68 oz) Betty Crocker™ red decorating gel
12 fresh strawberries, cut in half

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil and egg whites with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.
  • Bake 28 to 32 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on cooling rack 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in medium bowl, pour boiling water on gelatin; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Poke cake every inch with handle of wooden spoon or tines of meat fork halfway into cake. Carefully pour strawberry gelatin evenly over top of cake. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • Spread frosting over top of cake. Drizzle red decorating gel over frosting. Cut into 4 rows by 3 rows. Garnish each piece of cake with strawberries.

1 stick butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F degrees. Spray 9x13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Prepare cake mix according to package directions but instead of adding water, you will replace that amount with Coca-Cola. Add in dry instant pudding mix to the batter and mix as well. Pour batter into baking dish and bake according to package directions, usually around 35-39 minutes. Just before cake is ready to come out of the oven, start making frosting. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, start melting one stick of butter. Add in cocoa powder and heavy cream (or milk) and stir. Then stir in confectioners' sugar. Stir briskly with a whisk to get all the lumps out. Take mixture off the heat and add in vanilla extract. Once cake comes out of oven pour frosting over warm cake. Do your best to spread it out evenly. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top, if using. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
