Steps:
- Melt butter in large sauce pan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and well-blended. Cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
- Add cereal. Stir until well coated.
- Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly and firmly in buttered 13 x 9 inch pan. Cut into 2 x 2 inch squares when cool.

COPYCAT STARBUCKS RICE CRIPSY TREATS
These copycat Starbucks rice crispy treats (also called marshmallow dream bars) are so easy to make at home. They are gooey, sweet, and loaded with yummy marshmallows.

- Grease a 9 x 9 inch pan.
- Reserve about 5 ounces of the mini marshmallows and set aside.
- In a medium pot, heat your butter over medium heat. Stir in 10 ounces of the mini marshmallows.
- Gently stir, until everything is well melted.
- Remove from heat and add the vanilla extract. Stir well.
- In a large bowl add the cereal and then add the 5 ounces of mini marshmallows you reserved. Stir well. This will give the treats marshmallows throughout just like the originals.
- Add the melted mixture to the cereal and additional mini marshmallows. Mix well.
- Add the mixture to the 9 x 9 pan and let sit for about one hour.

- Thoroughly grease a 9- by 13-inch pan with softened butter.
- In a large pot, melt the butter. Stir in the regular marshmallows until they're totally melted. Stir in the salt. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- Pour in the cereal, folding gently the whole time until all combined. Then pour in the mini marshmallows and gently fold in. Turn into the buttered pan and press flat. Immediately top with rainbow sprinkles.
- Let cool completely, and then cut into squares.
MARSHMALLOW CREME RICE CRISPY TREATS
Marshmallow creme rice crispy treats are the only way to make these Rice Krispies treats. I have perfected the best rice crispy treats recipe which is actually the combination of marshmallow creme along with miniature marshmallows, butter and an entire box of cereal.

- Melt butter in a large six-quart dutch oven. Once the butter starts to melt, add the container of marshmallow creme.
- Over low heat, stir to combine. When butter and marshmallow creme are combined, add half the mini marshmallows. Stir to combine.
- Begin adding cereal once the marshmallow is melting but not completely melted. Remove from heat and add the cereal two to three cups at a time.
- With just a few cups left, add the remainder of marshmallows and then stir in the remaining cereal.
- Pour into a large lasagna pan. Pat down with the butter wrapper. Let cool before cutting and serving.

I got this recipe from George Duran's- "Ham On The Street" t.v. show, on the Food Network. I have also substituted crisp cocoa cereal in place of regular rice crispy cereal, which made for an addictive chocolate mocha treat!

- Measure 6 cups of crisp rice cereal into a medium bowl and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Stir in marshmallows. Melt slowly and stir constantly until marshmallows are smooth and well combined with butter.
- Remove pan from heat and stir in coffee until completely dissolved.
- Pour marshmallow mixture over cereal and stir to coat. Press mixture into a buttered 9" x 13" pan. Cut into squares and enjoy.

- Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Place cereal in a large heatproof bowl.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir brown sugar, cream, and corn syrup into butter; cook, stirring, until mixture becomes thick and syrupy, 7 minutes. Stir 2 teaspoons salt into butter mixture. Remove from heat and add marshmallows; stir until marshmallows are smooth and melted.

COFFEE MARSHMALLOW CRISPY TREATS

- Lightly butter an 8-inch square pan.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over very low heat. Stir in the marshmallows, getting them all coated with the butter. Slowly melt the marshmallows, stirring frequently. When the marshmallows are melted and smooth, remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the instant coffee (2 tablespoons for a rich coffee flavor, 3 tablespoons for a real kick) and mix until it is dissolved into the melted marshmallow. Gently fold in the rice cereal. When it is completely coated, lightly press the mixture into the prepared pan with your buttered hands. When cool, cut the treats into bars and serve.

- Coat a large silicone spatula with nonstick spray and set aside. Line an 8-inch (20 cm) square pan with plastic wrap and coat with nonstick spray; set aside.
- Melt butter in large pot over medium heat. Add marshmallows and melt over low-medium heat, stirring frequently. When marshmallows are about three-quarters of the way melted, add the espresso powder and cinnamon and stir vigorously until marshmallows are completely melted and espresso dissolves. Remove from heat and immediately add cereal to melted marshmallow mixture and use the coated spatula to fold everything together and combine well. Scrape mixture into prepared pan (allow to cool briefly if too hot) and use damp fingers and palms to press down firmly into an even layer. Allow to sit until firm and set, about an hour, or hasten this process by refrigerating briefly (about 15 minutes).
- Pull up on plastic wrap and remove the solid square of treats from pan. Set on work surface and peel plastic away. Cut into a 5 by 5 grid into 25 bars. These are amazing if served the same day but they can be stored in airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
