You'll want to wake up to this Bananas Foster Smoothie! Yummy banana and caramel flavors in a protein-packed smoothie - delicious!

1 frozen banana (quartered)
1 cup plain Greek yogurt (not sweetened)
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup Caramel Machiatto creamer
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp rum extract (optional)
1/2 tsp banana extract (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Top with whipped cream and additional cinnamon if desired.
  • To make a shake, replace the Greek yogurt with vanilla ice cream. Drizzle caramel sauce on top - yum!

Number Of Ingredients 5

3/4 cup 2% milk
1/3 cup coffee yogurt
1 small banana, frozen, peeled and cut into chunks
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dash ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process for 45-60 seconds or until blended. Pour into a chilled glass. Serve immediately.

1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee, chilled
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
2 small ripe bananas
6 ounces cups vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup fat-free half-and-half
1 cup ice cube

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender container.
  • Process until very smooth and frothy.
  • Pour into two glasses and serve.

Low Fat Coffee Banana Smoothie image

Use up your old coffee a fun way! I always save my leftover coffee and freeze them into ice cubes. Usually, I cool off my fresh cup of coffee with them (without diluting the taste) - but you can use them to make iced coffee. I was out of my usual frozen strawberries one morning so I thought I'd give them a whirl in the blender. I currently use a hazelnut flavored blend. Also, don't let the "low fat" throw you - this tastes wonderful... Use the ripest bananas (black is fine for this) possible, as they are the sweetest. If they're too ripe to eat, peel them and put them in baggies in the freezer to save for your smoothies or for baking. No one will know! I hope you like this.
