- In a saucepan, saute onion in oil until tender. Stir in the next 11 ingredients. Add lemon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until slightly thickened, 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Discard lemon slices. Place hot dogs in a 13x9-in. baking dish. Top with sauce. Bake, uncovered, at 350° until heated through, 18-20 minutes. Keep warm; serve with toothpicks.

- In the bowl of a medium slow cooker (3-quart), combine the apple butter, chicken stock, BBQ sauce, apple juice, maple syrup or honey, red pepper flakes and a pinch of salt. - Remove franks from package and cut down the center of the frank to form a slit. Do not cut entirely through the frank. Place about 1 teaspoon cheese spread in center of frank. Repeat with all franks. Set aside.

- Next add in your beaten eggs, the almond flour, garlic, and salt to the melted cheeses. Stir the dough mixture well until all your ingredients are well combined and it looks like a well formed dough ball. It will be a stiff dough.
