These creamy raisin clusters make welcome holiday gifts. Give them in pretty tins or glass containers tied with holidya bows.

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups raisins
8 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
6 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Steps:

  • Place raisins in a steamer basket or strainer. Place over boiling water but not touchin it.
  • Steam, covered, for 5 minute.
  • Combine cream cheese and butter in heavy bottomed saucepan. Stir over low heat until butter is melted, cheese is soft and mixture is well combined.
  • Transfer to large bowl of mixer.
  • Add powdere sugar, one cup at a time, until frosting is thick and creamy but not dry.
  • Add vanilla. Stir in raisins gently.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let dry, uncovered, for 4 hours or overnight.

I needed another quick fix for chocolate but had to make without nuts for DH. So I chose golden raisins and they were a hit!

Number Of Ingredients 3

12 ounces milk chocolate
2 ounces white chocolate (I used a candy bar)
8 ounces raisins (can use more or less or combine with nuts)

Steps:

  • Put chocolate ( milk and white) in crock pot on low.
  • stir after 30 minutes to blend.
  • continue cooking 10 minutes.
  • add in raisins, blend.
  • with teaspoon drop onto wax paper.
  • let cool.
  • enjoy!

Steps:

  • melt chocolate discs in a double boiler.
  • dump in raisins
  • stir for a while.
  • when raisins are fully covered in chocolate pour into strainer until all access chocolate is gone
  • pour the raisins onto pan and let sit until dry
  • eat.

11 1/2 ounces milk chocolate chips (I use Hershey's)
4 ounces white chocolate
9 ounces raisins

Steps:

  • Put milk chocolate chips and white chocolate in microwave safe bowl.
  • Microwave on high 1 minute and stir.
  • Microwave another 45 seconds and stir until smooth. (all microwaves vary so you may have to microwave yours a bit more).
  • Add raisins and stir. You can also add more raisin or sometimes I add peanuts too.
  • Drop on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper.
  • Cool and serve.
