Serve up a sweet breakfast by spelling out your feelings on cinnamon-sugar toast. Parchment paper and a pair of scissors are all you need to make the easy stencils.

Ingredients

2 slices white sandwich bread
Unsalted butter, room temperature
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

Preheat an oven or toaster oven to 425 degrees.
Cut XOXO letters or hearts out of parchment paper. Spread bread with butter on both sides. Place bread on a parchment-lined baking sheet and adhere stencils.
In a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon. Generously sprinkle cinnamon sugar over toast. Bake until crisp and golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Peel off stencils; serve immediately.
