Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 cup tequila
6 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 cup coarse kosher salt
6 frozen lime-flavored ice pops or fruit bars, unwrapped

Steps:

  • Mix tequila and lime juice in 1-cup measuring cup. Place coarse salt in small bowl. Place all ice pops, sticks up, in deep bowl, or place 1 pop in each of 6 glasses. Pour tequila mixture over ice pops. Lightly dip 1 edge of each ice pop into coarse salt and serve.

  • Jalapeño Margarita. 3/4 cup tequila. 1/4 — 1/2 jalapeño pepper (sliced) 1/4 cup orange liqueur (Coitreau, Triple Sec, or Grand Marnier) 1/2 cup fresh-squeezed lime juice.
  • Beer ‘Rita. 12 oz tequila. 12 oz Sprite. 12 oz light Mexican beer (Corona is on sale) 12 oz frozen limeade. Limes. Ice. Method: Mix and stir Sprite, Mexican beer, and frozen limeade in a pitcher until frozen limeade is broken up.
  • Blood Orange Margaritas. 2 oz tequila. 1 blood orange (freshly squeezed) 1 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice. 1 tsp agave nectar. 2 tsp kosher salt. 1 tsp brown sugar.
