1 lb ground beef
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can barbecue beans (do not drain)
1 (15 ounce) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1/3 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1/2 cup water
1 (7 1/2 ounce) can buttermilk biscuits

Steps:

  • In a skillet, cook beef over medium high heat, until browned, 6-8 minutes. Drain off any fat.
  • Stir in green pepper, beans, barbecue sauce, mustard and water. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally, over medium heat.
  • Cut biscuits in half and place around edge and in center of skillet.
  • Reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer 12-15 minutes, until biscuits are cooked in the center. (they will be like dumplings and will not brown).

1 lb lean ground beef
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 (13 3/4 ounce) can ready-to-serve beef broth
1 1/2 cups uncooked wagon wheel macaroni or 1 1/2 cups rotini pasta
1 cup prepared hickory flavored barbecue sauce
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup cheddar cheese or 1/2 cup colby cheese, finely shredded

Steps:

  • In large nonstick skillet, brown ground beef, bell pepper and onion over medium heat 6 minutes or until outside surface of beef is no longer pink, breaking beef up into 3/4-inch crumbles.
  • Pour off drippings.
  • Stir in broth, pasta, barbecue sauce and water; bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until pasta is almost tender.
  • Uncover skillet; continue cooking 5 to 7 minutes or until pasta is tender and sauce is thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Sprinkle with cheese before serving.

1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups thinly sliced zucchini
1 can diced tomato
1 1/2 cups uncooked instant rice
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion, then drain.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients except rice and cheese, bring to a boil.
  • Stir in rice.
  • Reduce heat to low and cover and simmer 5-7 minutes or until liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Fluff mixture with fork, sprinkle with cheese.
  • Cover and let stand 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Serve and enjoy!

2 cups dry multigrain elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 pound ground round beef (85% lean)
1 can (15 oz each) Manwich® Original Sloppy Joe Sauce
1 can (15 oz each) Van Camp's® Pork and Beans
1-1/2 cups frozen whole kernel corn
1 can (4 oz each) diced green chilies, undrained
1 cup shredded reduced fat Colby Jack cheese

Steps:

  • 1.Cook macaroni according to package directions, omitting salt. 2.Meanwhile, cook beef in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until crumbled and no longer pink, stirring occasionally; drain. Stir in all remaining ingredients, except macaroni and cheese. Cook 5 to 8 minutes or until hot and bubbly, stirring occasionally. 3.When macaroni is cooked, stir into beef mixture. Top with cheese; cover and let stand 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.

1 small onion, chopped
2 clove garlic, minced
1-2 lb lean ground beef
2 can(s) (14-oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
2 tsp dried parsley
2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
3 beef bouillon cubes or 3 tsp. granules
3 cups water
1 lb dry macaroni noodles (1 regular sized box)
1 pkg (12 oz.) package shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Heat Ground chuck, chopped onion and garlic, in a deep iron skillet and cook until browned. Drain.
  • 2. Stir in tomatoes, parsley, oregano, beef bouillon, water and macaroni. Cover and cook over low heat stirring often, until macaroni softens about 15-20 minutes, add more water (1/2 cup at a time) if macaroni is still too firm.
  • 3. Cover pasta with shredded cheddar cheese and place pan in a 350 degree oven. bake in the oven until cheese has melted.

  • brown hamburger & season to taste - drain off any fat.
  • layer the following ingredients to make 2 different layers -.
  • 1 cup of egg noodles per layer, 1/2 of the sliced celery, 1/2 of the cubed cheese,1/2 of the black olives per layer.
  • top the layers with the stewed tomatoes, and add the 1/4 cup water.
  • Turn heat to medium unti casserole comes to a steam, then lower heat to low, Cover pan and cook for 30 minutes.
