It's fast and easy and you'll like it for potlucks or large family meals. For smaller amount, freeze 1/2(unbaked and without noodles) for a busy day!

1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 tsp pepper
28 oz can chow mein vegetables,undrained
1 small can chopped water chestnuts, drained
16 oz can bean sprouts, undrained
10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
10 oz can cream of chicken soup
10 oz water , using soup can
1 c uncooked rice
3 Tbsp soy sauce, low sodium
3 oz can chow mein noodles,for crunch

Steps:

  • 1. Lightly brown beef and onions together in a skillet. Using a 4-quart baking dish, combine the vegetables, soup, water,rice,pepper,bean sprouts, water chestnuts,and soy sauce.. Stir in prepared meat mixture. Cover the dish and bake at 350^ for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, adding water if necessary. Uncover and sprinkle with the noodles. Return to oven and bake uncovered for another 10 minutes.

1 lb ground beef
2 large onions (sliced)
1 stalk celery (Diced)
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can mushroom soup
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup uncooked rice (not instant)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 cup bean sprouts (to be sprinkled on top after it is baked)

Steps:

  • Brown the ground beef with onions and celery; add the rest of the ingredients (except the bean sprouts) and stir together well.
  • Butter or grease casserole dish.
  • Place the ingredients in the casserole dish.
  • Bake at 325° for 1-1/2 hours.
  • Sprinkle with bean sprouts and serve.

8 ounces elbow macaroni
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 bay leaf
Kosher salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Heat the oven to 350 F/180 C/Gas 4.
  • Lightly butter a 2 1/2- to 3-quart baking dish or spray it with nonstick cooking spray .
  • Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the macaroni and cook following the package directions. Drain well and set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot add the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper. Cook until the onion is tender and the beef is no longer pink, stirring frequently.
  • Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic powder , sugar, paprika, and bay leaf. Taste and add kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, as needed. Bring the sauce to a simmer. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Remove the bay leaf and combine the sauce with the drained macaroni. Mix thoroughly.
  • Transfer the American chop suey mixture to the prepared baking dish .
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the casserole.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and cheese has melted.
  • Serve and enjoy!

3/4 lb browned pork steak (cut into bite size pieces)
1/2 cup Minute Rice (uncooked)
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 cup chow mein noodles

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients except chow mein noodles and bake in 2-quart casserole for one hour at 350deg. Add noodles and bake for an additional 15 minute.

1/2 cup milk
1 (10 ounce) package frozen French-cut green beans, thawed and drained
1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/2 cup diagonally sliced celery
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/3 cups French-fried onions, divided
1 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In large bowl, combine beef, soup, milk, beans, water chestnuts, celery, soy sauce and 2/3 cup French Fried Onions.

2 beef bouillon cubes
2 cups water, divided
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 can (28 ounces) chop suey vegetables, drained
2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
Cooked rice
Chow mein noodles

Steps:

  • In a skillet, brown beef; drain. Dissolve bouillon in 1-1/2 cups boiling water; add to skillet. , Combine remaining water with cornstarch; stir into beef mixture. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until thickened. Add vegetables and soy sauce; stir and cook until heated through, about 15 minutes. , Serve over rice; sprinkle with chow mein noodles.

1 package (7 ounces) shell macaroni, cooked and drained
2 cups diced celery
2 medium onions, diced
1 cup chopped green pepper

1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimientos, drained

Steps:
