3 tablespoons butter
1 (10 ounce) package large marshmallows
1/2 cup peanut butter
6 cups crisp rice cereal
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
1 teaspoon shortening

Steps:

In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt butter on high heat for about 45 seconds. Add marshmallows; stir to coat. Microwave on high for 45 seconds; stir. Microwave for 45 seconds longer or until smooth. Stir in peanut butter. Immediatly add cereal; stir gently until coated. Press into greased 13x9x2in baking pan.
In a small microwave safe bowl, heat chocolate chips and shortening on 70% power for 1 minute. Heat in 10 to 20 second intervals until melted; stir until smooth. Spread over cereal mixture. Cool completely.

1/2 cup butter, cubed
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup 2% milk or half-and-half cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 jar (13 ounces) Nutella
1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup milk chocolate English toffee bits

Steps:

In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add sugars, baking cocoa, milk and salt; bring to a boil. Cook and stir over medium heat for 1 minute. Remove from the heat. Stir in Nutella, marshmallow creme and extract until melted. Stir in Rice Krispies., Press into a greased 15x10x1-in. pan; cool slightly. Sprinkle with toffee bits; refrigerate until set. Cut into squares; store in an airtight container.

1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter
1 (250 g) package of reg. marshmallows (about 40)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
6 cups Rice Krispies
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, more if you prefer

Steps:

In large saucepan over low heat, melt butter.
Add marshmallows, stir until melted and well blended.
Add choc.
chips and stir till melted.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla, add cereal stirring until well coated.
Using buttered spatula, press into buttered 13x9" pan.
Cool and cut into squares.

Use the back of a spatula or a piece of wax paper over the treats, and press into the pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired. Allow the treats to cool, and the marshmallows to set, about 30 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.
